Fuji Japanese Grill — Restaurant in North Myrtle Beach

So their food is really good, I'll give them that. HOWEVER, the last 2 times we've ordered (we are locals) we ordered on the phone to go pick up to avoid having to sit and wait. However they didn't make it until we got there, both times. Today we ordered and I asked how long, he said 25 min. We gave them an extra 5 min and speed up 30 min later. The girl told us it was ready and she just had to bag it up BUT it wasn't and we waited ANOTHER 30 min. We had ordered from another restaurant for my daughter and scheduled the pick up for 10 min after the guy said ours would be ready. So now her food is cold because Fuji didn't have it ready when they said they would. Its really a shame because I like their food but if I wanted to wait for it to be cooked I would just go there and order....

Don't waste your money here!! The food is marginal and this is one of the most screwed up restaurants and in my opinion will be out of business soon. Like another reviewer said we called ahead for pick-up and were told that our order would be ready in 30 minutes. When I got there to pick it up I then had to wait another 20 minutes for it after being told that the order was being cooked and packaged. So much for calling ahead. for pickup. The girl at the front who took payment had a hard time understanding any English and was thoroughly confused. In addition, their prices were raised higher than what is noted on their menu which is bad business and misleading and the ownership should be ashamed for trying to take advantage of customers...

The food was okay, nothing to rave about or quite frankly did I enjoy much, I ended up throwing out over half my plate and so did most of my family. It is very expensive for what you get. They have a sign inside, that is not disclosed online or when you call to order, that plates with meat are charged $1.00 extra due to the economic strain or demand, something to that nature. The white sauce is not very good and I am pretty sure it was the sauce, but kind of spicy. My daughter did not want to eat her plate because of the little kick it had to it. The wait time was very long. The to go plates did not come with any silverware. The staff were not very friendly and did not communicate well about such a long wait. I would not...
