Goodfellas on 2nd — Restaurant in North Myrtle Beach

I don't know if it's because we were the youngest couple in there by 25 years or if we were not locals/regulars, but we received bottom level service. For a not very busy Saturday evening, our food took almost 1 hour to come out, while a table of 4 regulars that came in after us were served their food and finished it before we received ours. At least the food was good. We then went to the pool table area (which is in a separate but fully open room), and we became invisible to our waitress, not once checking on us or asking if we wanted anything. We could have just left without paying and nobody would have noticed. To cap everything off while we were playing pool we saw a cockroach go by under our table. We paid and left then and there. New Bar and Restaurant on 2nd Ave. what a great find! I was very impressed with the food, drinks and service. They have a daily special each day. A different drink special nightly. Prices are grea! We had a party of 6 celebrating a birthday. We had chicken quesadillas, a steak quesadilla, 2burgers, and a chef salad. It was all delicious! The house wine was very good also. We stopped in for a late dinner after shopping before heading back to Wilmington and I’m glad we did. The bartenders were so nice and even one of the guys that works in the back asked how everything was. I had the chicken Philly with fries and a side of okra. My boyfriend had the “big fella” and fries and all of our food was hot and delicious. It was reasonably priced and all the patrons were friendly as well. We will visit again our next trip down....
