While the Food here is excellent everyone should be aware that as is becoming the norm Crave is another business that is nickel- and-diming their customers to death. Food Costs continue to rise and now Crave has some Fee that they add to your bill (See .84 below), charge you more for using a credit card (See cash discount below), and now do not give you your change but rather round down your change if less than .50 is due and round up your change if it is more. See second receipt where it says I am due $23.42 change but was only given $23 as explained by our waitress with this new policy. Is that even legal? So the bottom line: At Crave you pay a huge sales tax due to our location You tip to make up for the poor wages paid by the Restaurant They take the rewards $$ you can earn from your credit card They Add some unexplained Fee And if you are due less than .50 cents change they keep that too It's time for this business to accept their costs of doing business and present that honestly as one simple cost, the cost of the goods they are selling. Why make the customer try to figure out what they are actually paying? Oh thats right, they count on you not noticing. This trend started with the Airlines and it will only continue unless we quit doing business with those who try to take advantage of us and assume we are too stupid to notice.

Went here on Sunday August 24th 2025 with my parents for a much needed dinner after shopping nearby North Myrtle Beach all day. Oh, and this place also has a location in Myrtle Beach as well. This was our first time at this location. They have pretty much the same food and menu options too. We parked in the busy parking lot, but despite busy, we were sat right away at the patio outside, where one feels the outside air and there are tables to sit at. The host who sat us was very pleasant, and kudos for finding a place to sit down right away! Our server also greeted us in a timely manner. We started with Waters. Can't remember if we had any drinks or not. We then started with vegan pizza with no mushrooms. Pizza was hot and fresh and enjoyable. For entrees, I ordered the Spagetti Squash Ala Vodka. Can't remember what my mom or dad ordered unfortunately. Well little oops by the server who was busy and forgot to put our order in, but was pleasant about it, and we were very understanding about it. But once the food came out it was so good! I even took my food home with me because I was full from the pizza. Server did an excellent job checking on us, and refilling our waters, as well as leaving a water jug. We paid via credit card, and left a cash tip! Enjoyed our service here and hope to be back when we are in the area!

Absolutely phenomenal experience at Crave tonight! Ample parking at a beautiful, modern venue with both indoor and heated outdoor seating. Our server, Kevin, was friendly, personable and efficient. We never once waited on drinks and the kitchen kept the flow of the meal on a timely schedule. Each individual in our party of 3 ordered an appetizer and an entree. I had the pleasure of tasting every plate that came to the table (we’re a sharing kind of family) and everything was absolutely delicious. The mussels, the fried burrata and the eggplant rollatini made way for salads (I opted for Cesar for a $1 upcharge) followed by shrimp and veal saltimbocca, orecchiette & broccoli rabe w/sausage and lobster ravioli with shrimp in a roasted red pepper tomato sauce. *Chef’s Kiss!* We finished it off with the two, jumbo, housemade cream puffs with a delicious, not-to-sweet diplomat cream. And I can’t forget about the bread! Best Italian style bread I’ve had in the area, and the basket also comes with garlic knots! I honestly don’t remember the last time I had such an exceptional experience at a local establishment. I’d heard the rave reviews of the MB location and I’m so excited to have this restaurant in the north strand.

Crave Restaurant Review

Ambiance: 4/5 Crave offers a lively and modern dining environment, perfect for both casual dinners and special occasions. The decor is stylish with a touch of elegance, creating a welcoming atmosphere. However, during peak hours, it can get quite noisy, which might detract from the overall experience for some patrons.

Service: 4/5 The service at Crave is generally attentive and friendly. Staff members are knowledgeable about the menu and make good recommendations. Occasionally, during busy periods, the service can slow down, but the staff’s professionalism and courteousness usually make up for any delays.

Food: 4/5 Crave’s menu is extensive and offers a variety of options innovative appetizers, as well as great happy hour and extensive main menu, the quality of the ingredients is evident. Most dishes are well-prepared and delicious, though there can be occasional inconsistencies in flavor and presentation.

Drinks: 4/5 The beverage menu at Crave is impressive, featuring a wide selection of wines, craft beers, and creative cocktails. The bartenders are skilled, and the drinks are crafted with care. Some patrons might find the prices a bit on the higher side, but the quality often justifies the cost.

Value: 4/5 While Crave is not the cheapest dining option, the overall quality of the food, service, and atmosphere makes it worth the price. It’s a great place for a special night out or a celebratory meal. Regular promotions and happy hour deals also add to the value.

Overall Experience: 4/5 Crave offers a well-rounded dining experience with its diverse menu, pleasant ambiance, and generally excellent service. It’s a reliable choice for a memorable meal, earning it a...

Food is good (however the Myrtle Beach location is much better). Bartenders are pretty good too. The servers you can tell have not been trained very well. Owner is the most unprofessional person I have met in my entire life. Rude and just truly not a good person. It’s sad because he gives the Crave brand a bad name. Has treated me with disrespect on multiple occasions- cussed me out over the phone as well. Him and his wife sit at the end of the bar and speak to no one there- even the regulars. Staff has said that they are not very nice people and don’t treat them well either. You get a completely different experience at the restaurant in Myrtle- support them. They have good food AND good service- owners are top notch at that location and truly care and take care of their guests. Will not be giving any more money to this location.

IN RESPONSE TO OWNER’S RESPONSE: Thank you for reserving me a spot “from the outside looking in”, however I will be supporting the Myrtle Beach location instead of yours now. I will also be making sure that anyone who asks for recommendations for places in the area now knows the way you treat and talk to your guests. I am not the only person who has had this experience with you. And if anyone reading this review needs the honest truth about this owner- ask the servers who have left this location and moved to the other one due to the owner’s treatment of them in the workplace. I have personally witnessed so many occasions where professionalism is not upheld. Terrible representation of the Craven brand. You should learn a thing or two about hospitality from the Myrtle...

I brought my friend here for a girl's day out and to celebrate her birthday! We couldn't decide so ordered two lemon drop martinis, calamari, tomatoes & mozzarella to start. OMG! Everything was soooo yum! This was actually a month or so ago. Ive been meaning to get around to writing this review as i plan on bringing my hubby back. Our waiter was great! He was attentive but not over the top. He didn't waste a trip and kept our table tidy and drinks filled. We had let him know we took an Uber and that we were celebrating. I believe his name was Hunter. Then we ordered our main dishes. I had the chicken marsala and she had the margarita pizza. Both came with a side salad. Our food was delicious, fresh and hot! We both were very pleased. I thought the price for what you got was very reasonable. A salad with pizza is a meal by itself! Then my friend went to the restroom and the waiter was able to suggest dessert. I ordered 3 since I wasn't sure what she would like. I gave him the candle and in about 10 minutes he brought back all 3 desserts with a lite candle and helped sing Happy Birthday. We got the cheesecake, tiramasu, and the chocolate cake. Yum and yum! We couldn't finish everything so to go boxes we received. A manager also stopped by our table while we were there to ask how things were. I forgot to mention that the sautéed spinach that came with my chicken marsala was soooo good too. It was seasonEd perfectly. I will be bringing my hubby here for Fathers Day. Can't wait! Food was delicious and everyone...
