I've traveled all over, and lobster rolls are one of my favorite things to try. I've been eating them for over 40 years and consider myself a connoisseur of the lobster roll and the subtle things that make them great or boring. I had the pleasure of having the Connecticut Lobster Roll at this fine establishment. It was the best I ever had, and I have tried hundreds of them. The lobster meat was right from the ocean fresh with large chunks of claw and tail meat. Perfect portion size. The bread had that subtle toasted crunch on the outside with warm, perfectly raised dough on the inside. It was hollowed out just right and stuffed with tender lobster meat. It had the right amount of bread to lobster ratio. A big mistake places make is too much bread. Not so here. This place knows their rolls. And of course, it was finished with delicious butter that soaked into the lobster and inside of the bread without making a mess. I also recommend a twist on the Connecticut by adding mayo as well. Equally as tasty. This will likely be my only review on Google for lobster rolls. I have finally found the #1 roll in America. Do yourself a favor next time you find yourself in North Myrtle Beach. Get one or two of these rolls, grab an ice cold beer or an arnold palmer, and head down to the beach at sunset. You will never regret such a delicious pleasure in life. You only live once. Enjoy the time you have. Thank you Mystic Lobster....

Well…. My first time eating here and definitely my last. I ordered a lobster roll with chips and a drink via Door dash for lunch at work. I waited forever to try this place because my husband is shellfish allergic. Figured I’d order it while I am working and be good by the time I get off. Yea no. Roll tasted frozen, no seasoning or flavor, dry just doesn’t cover it. Not even salt could save this. Driver said they didn’t give him the chips or drink… go figure. And coleslaw, which is usually one of my favs, had no flavor at all. To have spent as much as I did and feel like I got the same effect of eating Popeyes biscuits ( cause it was dry) it’s a bit ridiculous. If you are a person who doesn’t like seasoning than this may be the place for you. But having lived in Maine this was no Maine Lobster. It’s lobster just not Maine. Maine lobster meat is sweet and juicy. Idk what part of up north this came from but this just hurt my feels. I just knew it was going to be...

Ok...ok.. I've been wanting a lobster roll ever since I had one years ago in Greenville SC. I found Mystic while searching for restaurants that service lobster rolls in Myrtle Beach. This restaurant is amazing! I got the cold lobster roll and my husband got the hot one. Absolutely fantastic! It came with a drink, chips, a small cole slaw and a pickle. Mine also came with a lemon wedge which I promptly squeezed over the lobster meat and it was so darn good! Are they pricy? Well, yeah, but it's going to be expensive regardless because you are in Myrtle Beach but given the portion size, which I thought was plentiful, I didn't think $65 (that included tip) was bad at all! The bread was perfectly buttered and grilled on both sides. Perfection! The owners were so nice and we let them know how great their food is. If you want a lobster roll please...

After losing Joe loves Lobster in Boiling Spring…which was our NC version of Woodman’s in Ipswich Mass, (our go to place for lobstah when we lived there)…I was thrilled to discover Mystic Lobster Roll. Complaints about high prices in these reviews aren’t fair because this is not a cheap food to buy anywhere. The days of going to a store and buying $5.99/pound are long gone just like sub $2/gallon gas. This is a clean store with solid menu options but my favorite was the warm buttery roll and warm chunks of lobstah meet piled into their “Connecticut” roll. If you’re a relocated northeastener or someone that craves the simplicity of a good lobster roll you gotta try this place. Only regret is they don’t sell fried clams…but the owner did provide me an option from a friend’s place in Murrel’s Inlet I believe. GREAT staff! NOT fancy!! Yum….
