We rented from Seaside last year and the rental we walked into was absolutely disgusting, but Seaside immediately called us back (even on a Sunday) and took care of getting us into a new rental on Monday(we paid for a night in a hotel) so the property that they got us into last year was beautiful and very well taken care of, so we decided to rent it again this year. We bragged to our families how beautiful it was and told them that they had tons of towels and a high chair and a wagon and everything you need, so our families went also. When we walked in we knew it was not anything like it had been last year. The floors were filthy, there were very few towels, all of the colors had changed, the high chair was gone, the wagon was gone and it was much different, but we bought a swiffer and cleaned the floors and bought a high chair and stuff and did laundry every day to have clean towels, so we made it work, but upon returning home we decided to go ahead and book for next year, but book for a week later because many of the things hadnāt been open yet so waiting a week would assure everything was open. I went on the website and booked it(I have screenshots of everything) and they called me today and told me there was a glitch in their system and I could not book it for the price that I had been quoted. They said all that I had been quoted for was cleaning fees (keep in mind it was $900). I said so your cleaning fees are $900 ? She kept insisting it was a glitch, I said your website let me book it for that price, if itās a glitch it is not my fault and that would be false advertising. She said no if you read the contract we are not responsible for āglitchesā. I said first of all I did not get a contract and second of all you are responsible for your website and any glitches would be your responsibility. The lady insisted that the rental was not able to even be booked until 10 days after that date this year because the people that stay there the same week get first choice for next year. I went on to ask why their website would let me book it if it was not able to be booked until 10 days after .... this lady did not have good answers for anything. I am very dissatisfied with this company and I looked on the BBB and they are not accredited and they have complaints on there as well. Anyone looking for a reputable company please look into Elliot Rentals, their properties appear to be cheaper than Seaside and Elliot has ocean front properties. We will not be using Seaside again and I am filing a formal complaint and I have the evidence...

Where does it say 3-6 for check-in? After 5 is considered a late check in? SAFE & EASY CHECK IN PROCESS: On your arrival day, you will receive a text alerting you when your vacation rental is ready for you to check in. The check-in process begins at 3 pm. Please do not contact our office regarding check-in prior to 3 pm. When your rental property is ready, you will be texted. Please wait for the text. All check-ins occur at the office of Seaside Vacations. No check-ins occur at the rental property itself. We will have a check in package ready for you which will include keys/entry instructions, amenity passes, Wi-Fi instructions, driving directions from our office to your rental location and any other important information required for your stay. We ask that just one person for each reservation come to our front door. Your driver's license or state ID must be presented at time of check-in. Upon arrival to your rental, you will have a Seaside Vacations Goody Bag as a starter for paper products that may be necessary after a long drive. Ā Ā Ā Read moreThis company is a joke. We had issues from day one at Verandas. Took 45 mins to get stuff up elevator as only one worked and the other got stuck multiple times. The floors were slimy and dirty and while trying to get kids settled in one room, we noticed old food behind/under the bed. Day 2 we notice that 2 of the towel holders were broken and unable to be used. One of the showers literally leaks all day and has a piece that kept falling off.. oh and then I walked into my bedroom where I found a cockroach!!!!! After smushing him, we decided it was a flukeā¦. Nope found another in the entertainment stand 15 mins later⦠We let Seaside know of the issues right away. They basically told us we were out of luck.. āthose are palmetto beetlesā was their response!!! This is fancy for freaking cockroach and āthey could come in a spray while we are here.ā Like no sir we do not want strangers spraying chemicals where our children are sleeping and our belongings are.. There was no offer of a new property or even a care to give from these people. It was basically you can leave with no refund or stay and encounter bugs.. After losing a battle and having no where to go, we decided to stick it out in hopes it was really was a flukeā¦but nope our entire balcony is infested with them and you cannot go out on it after dusk or you will have them crawling all over you. We found them in our beach towels and swim shoes.. etc. Iām sure we are not the only ones to complain about this and I am sure we will not be the last but it was clear that the ācleanersā they use donāt clean thoroughly, the owners of the condo clearly donāt care how their place looks and Seaside just peddles their gross unkempt properties with a list of rules and things they are not responsible for in order to cover their basis from their wrong doings..All 8 of us are exhausted for not sleeping one good night as our four kids constantly thought the bugs were gone get in and get their stuff or them. I can deal with the outdated condo and the leaky faucet and broken holders but bugs are not okay and ruining my kids vacations is absolutely not okay!!! RENT FROM SOMEWHERE ELSE. These people do not care about you and will just take your money any...
