As someone who has eaten at restaurants throughout the world and have been to at least a 1000+ restaurants over my lifetime I am not someone who is easily impressed by a restaurant. With that said, Wow! SeaBlue is in a elite league that should be able to get special 6 star ratings!

Let me start with the service, absolutely impeccable! From the moment you walk in they are ready to greet you and have you seated quickly and a well trained server ready to take your drink order. From there the friendly very knowledgeable staff will go over the menu layout with you and tell you all about the evening specials.

At this point you are already thinking this a great, special place but it isn't until the food arrives that the best part actually starts! From the appetizer to the main course to even the crispy, piping hot bread and dipping sauce your taste buds will thank you for bringing them here.

I had the oyster Rockefeller and my wife tried the char grilled caesar and of course we tried each other's and both came away with these were 2 of the best starters we have had in many years. The caesar dressing, clearly made from scratch was just amazing. The Rockefeller had plump, sweet oysters and just the right amount of crisp bacon and flavorful sauce to finish them off.

The main course really set the stage for one of the best Dinners we have had anywhere. The Mahi Mahi catch of the day, done bronzed, was outstanding! So fresh, I commented to my wife I think they just caught it an hour before we arrived! Her lamb chops were cooked to perfection and so flavorful! They were as tender as they were flavorful and my wife is a real lover of lamb and has had lamb all over the world and very few, if any, compared to SeaBlue.

To finish things up even though we had little Room left we went with the Belgium ice cream sandwich and again were totally blown away by the presentation and clearly made from scratch dessert. The waffle was super thick and crispy on the outside but so soft and tender on the inside like any true Belgian waffle should be. The ice cream and maple syrup just completely finished it off and we finished out meal in total bliss.

Needless to say we look forward to our next visit there which will be soon! If you are in the area and looking for a truly special dining experience, don't hesitate a second to go to SeaBlue! It truly is a 6...

We had reservations and I put on the reservation that it was our anniversary. When we arrived the hostess greeted us wishing us a happy anniversary then seated us at a lovely table with a black tablecloth and blue napkins which she unfolded for each of us and placed it on our laps. It was then that we knew this is going to be a great experience. The waitress arrived and also wished us a happy anniversary and took our drink orders. While we were waiting for our cocktail we noticed an envelope on the table. It was a card wishing us a happy anniversary. Looks like I really made the right choice in restaurants this year. Lol. Service remained fantastic the entire meal. Now let's talk food. OMG. We got the special escargot lobster as an appetizer. I nearly cried when I took the first bite. It was by far the best lobster I ever had. All the other food was great quality and perfect flavors. The chef came out to make sure we were satisfied a few times during the meal as well as the hostess. The bar is fully stocked with the best spirits, great mixes and loved the muddled cherry in the old fashioned. The wine menu is great but you are allowed to bring your own as long as it's a rare vintage. So don't try to bring in your Tuesday wine.

If you're looking for a true luxury experience then look no further. This is the place. I will be back and not just for my...

We have been coming to Myrtle Beach every year for the past 40 years. The second thing I look forward to most every year is reading the responses from Ken throwing shade on reviewers that don’t understand food, the thing I look forward to the most is actually dining at SeaBlue. Although my wife might think I am cheap 🙂, truth is, I just hate wasting money. And SeaBlue is expensive, but is absolutely worth it. I currently live in Germany, and have lived in 3 countries and have been to top restaurants in every major city, this little restaurant in Myrtle Beach has the best food of any restaurant I have been to in the world. I have probably been to other restaurants that have some crazy creative dishes, but from a pure execution perspective, they are absolutely flawless. I almost look for some sort of flaw in anything I am served, but from the drinks to the apps to the entree to the dessert, everything is flawless. We were a bit concerned as to whether Covid would impact the business, and didn’t see some of the faces we are used to seeing, Tracy was still there to welcome us, and our server, Jen was great. Definitely left an impression that she gushed over just how amazing it is to work for a restaurant that she felt so appreciated and respected, really speaks a lot to the ownership. Bottom line, if you want to have the best meal of your...

In town for vacation, we made reservations for our anniversary. They provided us with a private booth and there was a personalized “Happy Anniversary!” card on our table when we arrived. Our waiter was very friendly and knowledgeable of all the dining and drink options. He made several recommendations and helped us decide what to order. The food was excellent. I had a bone in filet which was basted in truffle butter and served in a sizzling hot cast iron skillet to the table. Although more of a ribeye fan, I had never tried a bone in filet before and was intrigued. I was glad I did! Perfectly cooked and seasoned; I put it as one of the best steaks I’ve ever had. My wife had the lobster ravioli, which she loved. I tried it and thought it was delicious also. We shared broiled oysters and a blackened Caesar salad. My wife, who normally wouldn’t eat raw oysters, did enjoy them prepared this way. The Caesar dressing was homemade, and heavy on the anchovies (which I enjoyed), but my wife didn’t care for the bits of anchovy in the dressing. Price: expensive. This is a special occasion place but well worth the money in our opinion. Highly recommend, will visit again next time we’re in town.

First time in , we asked the waitresses (she was new) about the tasting menu we specifically asked if the tasting menu was items we could get off the menu or completely different items she went back to ask the chef and came back to say it was completely different items so we decided to do the tasting menu ($150 per person) the first few items that came out were spaced out by 20 minutes ( the wait time between got shorter as the meal progressed though) and we realized everything that was coming out was on the menu - either the regular menu or the special menu. We were upset about that because we specifically asked if the tasting menu was items we could get off the menu. 6 of 8 dishes were from the menu including the dessert. Several of the items were very rich and heavy so I only ate a few bites. Had we know we were getting menu items we would have just ordered from the regular menu . We were also charged a large party 20% tip , which we intended on tipping well but in my opinion it was out of line to charge a large party automatic 20% tip on a table of 2. The food was good so we plan on going back and just ordering off the menu next time.
