The Main Slice — Restaurant in North Myrtle Beach

We were so looking forward to loving this place because it was not a chain. Called in for take-out: $24.50 for build your own 18" pizza with multiple toppings. ACCURACY: We were given a cheese pizza (had already arrived home, upon discovery) VALUE: we were charged over $30, when online the pizza price was supposed to be $24.50. I questioned this at the time of payment and was told. "I don't know anything about that" EXECUTION: The cheese was mostly spilled into the box at the side on the cardboard. Much of it was not on the pizza. (The box had been maintained level during our ride home, so this had to have happened before giving the box to me.)The pizza crust was the texture of wet paper. It was not cooked. I also overheard an employee telling a supervisor that someone was on the phone who said their pizza had been delivered as if it had been dropped and they wanted their money back) MAINTENANCE OF SANITATION: The was a sign on the door asking patrons to maintain a safe distance; however, once inside the employees did not encourage this. 3 patrons were lined up blocking the payment area while they waited for their pizza slices to be heated. While I was waiting at least 6 feet away, an employee told me to come over to the cash register to pay. I could not get by these 3 people to pay without coming within a few inches of where they were congregating. In addition, multiple people used the "finger signing" payment register and no employee cleaned this between usage.

This experience was so entirely disappointing. We called several times and did get through to a manager on duty - Hunter. I asked for a complete refund. I am waiting to have this credited to my card.

UPDATE: Derrick, one of the owners, phoned and took full responsibility for the issues that occurred. I truly appreciate his acknowledging our experience and offering to make things right. His professionalism was evident and I would not hesitate to try...

Incredible pizza, all fresh dough made there daily, all ingredients fresh prepped right there...no prepared stuff, all fresh! Front manager Chris is more than happy to tell you what he has thats special, and owner Derrick might peek out and proudly share the great karma that comes from fresh hand made specialty items prepared while you wait.

Fresh regular and connoisseur pizza, strombolis, burgers, Philly steak, etc. Today I had Stir Fry Pizza with medallions of filet mignon, fresh tomatoes, onion rings sweet basil and a perfect blend of mozzarella and other fresh cheeses, baked on a perfectly done, not burnt thin crust. Wife was treated to Margarita Pizza that she said was phenomenal with fresh mozzarella basil olive oil and as marinara sauce that equalled the best we've ever had.

We also sampled the spinach mini stromboli...out of this world...sausage mini stromboli, just perfect, not too spicy, not too mild, and a pepperoni and cheese mini stromboli that...

Hello. Tonight my family and I went to Main Slice in North Myrtle Beach for dinner. I picked this place because they advertise on the Restaurant.com app which I have used for MANY years. Before ordering I showed the cashier the certificate on my phone and he said that they didn't take them because the certificates are OLD. I showed him the date on the certificate which has TODAY'S date on it and informed him it is not OLD I bought it TODAY.  He then told me to wait while he spoke to a manager.  The cashier came back and said the manager told him that Restaurant Com was selling the certificate without their permission or knowledge. The manager couldnt even be bothered to step out and speak with me. I have never had any issues with the app or any other restaurant on the app. I believe this restaurant is using the app to lure people in under false pretenses. We ended up going to a pizza place next door and spent $100 so Main Slice lost out. I live here and will be sure to spread the word. Go next door to Georgoi's. The food was great and so was...
