Once we entered the restaurant there was no one there except the waitress(Krystal V.) and a man at the bar, already a bad sign when there are other restaurants lined out the door. But I thought okay let’s give it a chance. When we went to order drinks we asked for the pink lemonade and the waitress says they are out, so we asked for fruit punch to which she reply's they are out. Okay, that’s fine, It happens. We get our drinks and everyone has decided what they want to eat, this waitress comes back to get our order. Long story short, wait for it, they are out of Chicken Alfredo, tuna for the tuna sub, the kids Mac and cheese and the kids grilled cheese meals, the list goes on. At this point I’m ready to leave and go somewhere but because others in my party wanted to stay I said okay we’ll try something by that is available on the menu. Once we get our food it looks fine but my son says the pizza “isn’t good” the corn dog for my other son looks green and the meat in my Stromboli also looks green. While we are sitting there we get to hear about the waitresses life and struggles, how she had raised herself, that she is sharing with the man at the bar. I’m thinking that it must have been hard and unimaginable what she may have had went through and maybe that is why she seems super jumpy and hyper and this man must be a regular or someone trying to pursue the waitress. But the best part is when we get the bill and the tip is already added. On my bill it was $10 which was already higher than what was expected for one adult and two kids making my bill $60 but rather than argue I just pay and leave, as I know some places charge gratuity with the bill, that’s fine but don’t expect a second tip on top of what you already charged. Another member of our party paid her bill and when she got her change she did not get all her change back. Instead of arguing she let it go. Just some change right? She didn’t realize she was already billed gratuity so she left another tip. It is what it is and we leave. As we are walking down the sidewalk we get chased by the man at the bar who says to us “don’t y’all feel bad for not tipping her” I was in total shock that this person would chase us down the sidewalk to say this to us. The other member of our party responded to him and said “I left a tip” he then pays her on the shoulder and said “okay, thank you” as we walk away he starts yelling “you should be embarrassed”.
This was the worst experience at a restaurant we have had in a very long time. It seems that staff professionalism and expectations are nonexistent to allow a boyfriend to set at the bar, probably getting freebies, and chase down customers.
I would not recommend eating here and after seeing these reviews I wish I would have read them before...
Read moreWhen I first walked into this place I was hit with the aroma of two things: cannabis and self hatred. Not a single seat filled by another soul. My intuition pleaded with me to vacate the premises but my stomach begged for nourishment. The cashier peered into my eyes with a hollow, dissatisfied glare. I ordered a gluten free pizza and BBQ chicken wings. I slunk into the hard uncomfortable chairs and proceeded to wait for what felt like an eternity. Sweat dripped down my face as there was no AC in the building. After 10 minutes the cold man handed me my wings and after 10 more grueling minutes he lazily set my pizza on the counter without bothering to say it was mine. After another 10 minutes he decided to proclaim the pizza was indeed of my belonging. I took the food under my custody and ventured home. Little did I know I was in possession of God's greatest gift. I arrived home and prepared to consume my pizza, if you could even call it pizza. My teeth sank into what felt like cardboard and what tasted slightly better than a piece of wood. It was more of a tax than a reward to ingest even a single slice of this now apparent abomination. As I arrived at the climax of the devil's most horrific torture, I questioned whether I should even put myself through any more pain. That's when I reached the wings. It was only then that I experienced the world's greatest bliss and clarity. The juicy tender chicken made my tongue wriggle in satisfaction. I questioned every life choice that led up to this beautiful experience. It was as if God's fourmost angels sang down for only me to hear. That very night I parted with my abusive wife and left my pitiful job at Kroger behind. If this reaches anyone just know that I may no longer be alive but at least I got to enjoy this scrumptious, mouth-watering, detectible treat. Mid pizza, good...
Read moreI took 2 of my grandchildren here for lunch. We got the 2 slice pizza lunch deal which came with a drink for 7.50 and a footlong and fries for 8.95 plus one more drink for 2.50. Also placed a separate togo order for a cheeseburger and was charged 11.95 for that. I asked for separate tickets. When the bill come it was 43.58. (Because the waiter ran both orders together) I gave him my card and when he returned my total was 45.58. I asked why was it 2.00 more and he explained that it was because I used my card. (Nowhere does it say this in the restaurant). I leave with my grandchildren but as I'm walking away I notice that I was also charged almost 7.00 for gratuity!! I went back in to ask about it ( I also left a tip) and the waiter said that they add gratuity because they are short staff. He also informed me that the owner would not be back for me to speak with for a couple days. This waiter that took my order and brought my food....that's it! Nothing else! Made an 11.00 tip (because I left more tip not realizing the gratuity had been added)! Kinda explains why my togo order was not put on a separate ticket. The more the bill is, the bigger the gratuity is, right? So 2.00 added for using my card, 7.00 gratuity, oh and he charged me 2.50 for the drink that was suppose to come with the lunch special! In total I was cheated out of 11.50!! 2 greasy reheated pieces of pizza and a hot dog and ff. Totally not worth it to...
