Waffle House — Restaurant in North Myrtle Beach

My with usually likes Waffle House grits for breakfast! Stopped in here while vacationing expecting the typical Waffle House experience, we were sadly mistaken. The first waffle brought to our table the waitress apologized for and asked if we would like it remade as it appeared they failed to put enough batter in the iron to make a full size waffle... it was about 3/4 sized not fully formed. Kudos to her, then the first bowl of ice cold grits arrived, my with said "taste these", yuk.. We returned them the waitresses apologized and brought a second bowl, better? I walked in at 615AM. No welcome No greetig. Sat at counter. The waitress, Tammy yelled across the Restaurant if I was going to order. I was very confused. Why would I walk into a Restaurant and sit down if I was not going to order. She was not pleasant. I ordered a ham and cheese omelet, grits, toast and coffee. Which was very good. Me and a coworker went to have lunch and had a horrible experience today at this location. There was an altercation outside with employee and another person. The other person driving the automobile try to run the employee over maybe five minutes later after that altercation happened the driver came into the building and had another altercation with the person and the back we were very disappointed. We felt unsafe so we left without even finishing our lunch. We took it to go. It’s so sad to have to witness that kind of behavior in the workplace, especially when she came in...
