Let me begin by noting that there are at least 20 five-star reviews for this place that were left before it even opened. Without these prematurely posted ratings, the restaurant's overall Google reviews would likely be in much worse shape.
First Impressions My experience started off on the wrong foot. The staff appeared unfamiliar with the menu, and after they took our order, their system crashed. We were then directed to use the self-order system, which felt cumbersome and awkward, almost as if we were using an employee's point-of-sale system rather than something customer-friendly. The prices were shocking for a self-serve restaurant—I couldn’t believe we ended up paying $70 for a meal for four.
The Wait Things only got worse from there. After 30 minutes of waiting and watching others receive their food, I finally approached the staff to express my concern. It was then that they realized our order had been lost. Naturally, I was furious, but the manager didn’t seem to understand the severity of the situation. The only offer they extended was to pack our food into to-go boxes, assuring us that it would be just 10 more minutes. I returned to our table, only to see the kitchen staff scrambling around, creating an impression of chaos rather than efficiency.
The Resolution After waiting another 20 minutes, my children had reached their limit. They were tired and upset, eventually breaking down into tears. At that point, I had no choice but to ask for a refund. We had been waiting an entire hour without receiving our food.
The Food When we finally did get the food, it was genuinely good, which is the only reason this review...

If you're looking for a casual spot with delicious food and friendly service, look no further than Bad Birrea. This local eatery offers a unique and satisfying dining experience. The ordering process is simple and efficient. Just walk up to the counter, place your order with the friendly staff, and receive a customer number. Then, choose any available table and place the number holder on the table. It's a convenient system that allows for a relaxed and enjoyable meal.
For drinks, there's a self-serve fountain drink station, so you can grab your favorite beverage at your convenience. If you prefer something stronger, there's a bar counter with bar stools where you can enjoy a drink while watching television.
Now, let's talk about the food. My wife and I both ordered the Birria tacos, and we were not disappointed. The tacos were served on shells dipped in a flavorful birria sauce, and the filling was packed with seasoned meat. The accompanying cup of birria sauce was a delicious addition.
To complement our tacos, we also ordered the tortilla chips and guacamole. The chips were warm and freshly made, and the guacamole was creamy and flavorful. The generous portion of guacamole was more than enough to fill a small bowl.
The prices at Bad Birrea are reasonable, and the dining area is clean and well-maintained. We were impressed with the overall quality of the food and service, and we will definitely be returning in the future.
If you're looking for a satisfying and affordable meal in a casual setting, Bad Birrea is definitely...
Read moreUPDATE...It seems this place has a team of people who post fake positive reviews in an attempt to discredit the bad reviews. If you look like me you might not get the same "great" service as someone else. Also, it's amazing that this place had so many great Google reviews BEFORE they even opened.
The place was empty. I walked in and followed the instructions written on the wall and proceeded to use the kiosk. This is my first visit so I wasn’t sure how the ordering process worked but after struggling a bit I placed my order. As I was paying a couple came in behind me and the girl with the piercings says to them “ I’ll take your order so you don’t have to struggle at the kiosk”. I asked her why didn’t ask me after watching me struggle? She gave me a look and rolled her eyes. I sat and waited for my order and watched the girl talk to another girl with blonde hair and it was clear they were discussing what happened. Piercings girl is also scratching her bare skin torso and digging in her hair, gross! They both turn around and look at me so it’s obvious they are talking about me. I kindly asked for a refund! Looks like from reading another refund my money isn’t appreciated here. On top of being rude and possibly racist it is unhygienic to have employees digging in their skin while...
