Long John Silver's — Restaurant in North Richland Hills

Use to eat long johns as a kid. Loved it. It has been years since I've been and decided to try it out. Now that I'm 30 I don't think my body likes me filling it with fried greasy foods. I will have to say that for me this was a fail and honestly a little miserable experience. Staff was stressed with orders. At the drive through filled us in on the latest call in and high expectations put on her which I really don't like for workers to do. I just wanted to order my food and be on my way. (Especially in a drive thru!) She was so busy apologizing and explaining how terrible it was they had no help that day that she forgot my silverware and napkins. I had asked for vinager as well and she forgot that also. My husband ran in to grab the missing items and it took more than 10 minutes to get their attention. Seemed like everyone was in the back of restaurant for unknown reason. Of course at a fast food restaurant you run the risk of these types of things happening but I'd like them to strive to serve better no matter where they choose to work. BTW I ended up puking up my whole meal. More because my body is not use to so much fried food now but just something to think about when...

My husband & son wanted Long John Silver's and I wanted Subway for supper & went to Long John's for Jimmy and first of all, prices are too high for no more than you get there and I asked for an extra side which was almost $2.00 and it came in a teeny tiny cup, not a normal size like you get at other places for buying extra sides!!!! They DID NOT even include any of those tiny pieces of crispy pieces that we love & they usually have tons in your meal!! Also, I told them that he did not need a drink because I was taking this home and they said it's the same price with or without a drink and the Tea was awful, tasted too strong!! They would not let me substitute!! I am going to do their survey off my receipt and believe you me, I will do my complaining there!! For what it costs to eat there, and not that good, I could have gone to Golden Chick which serves real catfish and gotten better fish and homestyle veggies for just a little...

Usually I go through the drive. Tonight my hubby and I went in. I got my usual 5 piece chicken plater(no fish yuck). Hubby plstter with shrimp. The guy was on the ball one working front two in back. They didn't give me extra crunchies as I asked. There wasn't any even on the plate. One of my Chicks was removed from the fryer to early, still eat able. Just not perfection as the others. Green beans always taste the same. They have benches that need replaced. They need a little more then just a touch up. The ladies rest room need some lovin' the lights kept blinking while I was in there. I think the fountain drink thing is on the frits cause it gets really loud. Not constantly only while in use. Mainly because I didn't hv crumbs on my plate and I had to ask for crumbs again. (I still got only a little bit.) Is the reason for the complaint. Staff...
