Blue Jay Play Cafe — Restaurant in North Topsail Beach

Wonderful coffee shop/cafe in a great location.

My wife and I were in the area and decided to stop in for a coffee and a nice quiet place to relax before we spent a day at the beach (the location of phenomenal, with very easy access to the beach). I typically am not much of a coffee person, but the drink I ordered was very good and made a non-coffee drinker want to go back for seconds.

Aside from the drink, the staff were both very friendly and helpful, and all of the facilities were in great shape. I was particularly impressed with their dedication to cleanliness, not only in the “dining” areas, but in the restrooms as well.

What a fantastic place! The staff is kind and welcoming, the facilities are clean and inviting, and the play areas for the kids are great. There's plenty of setups for both gross motor and fine motor play -- a large play set with a slide, smaller climbing structures, a Cafe, a grocery store, and areas perfect for both non-walkers and toddlers. Ladies were accommodating and kind in helping me customize my drink. I got a blue matcha with sugar free vanilla, vanilla protein with oat milk. The right amount of sweetness with 30g of protein! I loved it! 💙 Pricing is reasonable. The place is aesthetically pleasing overall, such a calm environment with light music playing in the background making it comforting for both parents and children. They had all the right and healthy snacks I would give my own children. Lastly, I loved that they have Montessori wooden toys for sell. ✨ 10/10...
