Boba Tea & Coffee — Restaurant in North Township

Stopped in once for boba tea but will never go back. The tea I got was pretty good, no complaints there. The reason I won't go back is because this place shares the building with a nail salon next door. There are doors that you can walk through from the restaurant to the salon without going outside. When I went inside these doors were open and MY GOD the chemical smell from the salon filled the restaurant and it was horrible. Sitting and waiting for my drink to be made was a test of my breathing skills. I could see a manager or owner walking around with his computer stuff taking up a table near these wide open doors, apparently not caring about the smell. Probably is used to it but for a new customer like me, it was so bad that it's a deal breaker. The place looked very clean but the smell is more than enough to keep me from going back. DO NOT PATRONIZE THIS ESTABLISHMENT!!!!!!!!! *The place reeks of nail acrylic! *The boba is disgusting! *The frappe drinks are so thick you need a spoon. *The blended ice drinks have large chucks of ice which prohibits you from being able to sip through a straw. *Cindy, the Asian manager is a horrible manager. She uses the Asian resolve that you WONT get your drink replaced or the money back. *Sophia is just as horrible and refuses to assist or relay information to higher management. *This place is unfortunately lacking customer service and satisfaction! *The worst part is no only the above but the fact that they do not care!!! *Town of Munster, I hope you take heed when concerns of new business arise. They have had multiple chances from me. Each time something was wrong....

Love the young workers … the young ladies and the one young man. Teas are delicious… and the only single reason I am giving 3 stars is the multiple times I have been there for the treats and nails I have always tipped! After going so long you learn to know the workers and to find out that on the tea side those young kids don’t get one tip!!! How infuriating that is for me! Please if you tip leave cash to the young kids. Not sure who is claiming them tips but I have learned by these young adults it is not them!!! Shame on this business! My next visit in I will be speaking to manager. I left tips for the workers so I am highly upset however this says a lot about the business, owners...
