First when we walked in they never asked us how many of us. The young girl in the red looked at us and walked away. They then wanted to seat us in the back corner by the beverage station and it smelt like sewer gas. When I said to the hostess I would like another table that is when her attitude started with me. The waitress asked if everything was ok and I proceed to tell her that the smell was just horrible. She agreed and said to me yes they said they fixed it the other day but she said it still smelled horrible. We went back to the front to wait. There was another table of four that walked in 2 tables of 2 and a table of 3 that walked in last waiting. The 2 tables of 2 got sat into a 2 person booth. The same hostess that had an attitude with us then proceed to take the 3 people that where last to come in and put them in a corner both. The 4 people that came in right after us got up and walked out bc she clearly dis not know how to seat people. When we asked her why we where not seated she then started with her attitude with us telling us she was waiting for the other booth to open. We asked why we where not sat in the other booth she said bc there where more of them. She then walked away and was talking and throwing her hands up. Then when the other table was finally cleaned she looked at us and said are you guys wanting to get seated or you just going to stand there. We then approached a man that was standing there about the situation and all he kept saying is we are busy. The young girl then started saying thing and throwing her hands not only at us but also and the gentleman which was other the owner or manager. I have never been disrespected by someone in my life like that. If I was her and my mother heard me talk like that she would of slapped me. I will say I will never give this restaurant another try and I will inform people about this horrible service and disrespect we received from this people. This girl needs to learn how to treat people and how to...
Read moreThese were the BEST pancakes I've had in a very, very long time. Fluffy and light, NOT chewy and "doughy." Something about that pancake batter had me wonder what they did differently than other places?!?!👀😋 I thoroughly enjoyed my Blueberry Pancakes to down to the very last bite. Plus, the blueberries were bursting with flavor and there was nothing overly gooey & artificial-tasting about the glaze. My bacon was perfectly crispy as requested, and the eggs and hash browns were pretty good as well. The other people I dined with enjoyed their pancakes as well as the Big Fat Greek Omelet which boasted lots of delicious ingredients and yummy feta cheese. We got a pitcher of ice water for the table which made pouring our own water convenient. Very prompt, attentive service in a comfortable setting; long, big booths and tables available for seating, accommodating everyone from couples to large groups of people (8+ people). Family-friendly atmosphere. Bustling and super busy on a weekend morning. All types of people seemed to dine here, and that's when you know it's a favorite amongst patrons☺️. Unlike some deafening breakfast restaurants I have visited, Buttermilk Pancake house also seemed to have average to moderate noise level with lots of seemingly happy, smiley diners and hardly any screaming, crying babies 🤭 or the busboy slamming plates and silverware 🍽️. Something about this place was perfectly comfortable and just right! I will be back for those famous "Pineapple Upside Down" Pancakes! No wonder they've been in business for...
Read moreThis morning we had a very unpleasant experience me and my family (a party of 5 adults and 3 kids). Starting the manager acting like he was very stressed about it (I can understand since is a bigger group but his attitude about it was unnecessary) we were okay waiting not putting pressure or anything. The hostess was very nice and working on getting a table together along with the busboys. Our party still has couple of members missing, however the hostess let us sit in the table while we wait since we had a baby and to avoid al the traffic in the front door. The waitress super nice offers drinks and as soon as we settle in the table and got the drinks (about 5 minutes from being in the table) a men approach us and ask for the rest of our party, I tell him they have to small children and they are getting ready to come in from the parking lot. He follows to tell us (very upset and rude) they don’t let people sit if the group is all not together. I reply well they were very kind and offer us to sit, he shakes his head and just walks away to look for our waitress and start being very rude to her in the front of the restaurant.
We won’t be coming back to support a place were the employees are treated like that when they are just trying to take care of the costumers.
Great stuff and employees however management not so much. I can imagine how it is to work for someone like that if he feels entitled enough to talk to employees and customers like that for no...
