If you find yourself driving down Ridge in Munster, Indiana, you should do yourself a favor to grab yourself a tasty meal. Just go on up the little hill and find a spot to park. I dined here with my girlfriend and we were seated at a booth.

They served us complimentary chips and salsa right at the start. They were great and we were even able to get a free refill on them! We shared a Pepsi, a Diet Pepsi, and a Regular 42 oz. Lime Margarita on the rocks. All of the drinks were great! The Pepsi was so sweet I’d almost call it liquid dessert. Even the Diet Pepsi was sweet. The Margarita was served in a glass-type cup with salt around the rim. For $11.00, it was almost unbeatable. The soft drinks came with free refills, but unfortunately and obviously, the Margarita did not. I could only dream for that.

We ordered the Coctel de Camarones for an Appetizer. It was shrimp in a Mexican cocktail sauce. I didn’t care for it, as it was served cold. My meal choice was the Del Mar Combinación. It came with One Chile Relleno, One Chicken Tostado Suiza & One Chicken Enchilada. It was served with Rice, Beans, Guacamole & Sour Cream.

Our food didn’t take too long to get to the table. My whole plate was great! The Tostado and Enchilada had acceptable quality. The Chile Relleno made the meal for me. It had hidden spice, but that thing was unforgettable. The Rice and Beans had a solid flavor. The Guacamole and Sour Cream made for tasty company. The meal was definitely worth the price of only $13.00.

The service was pretty good. Our waitress got us everything we needed.

Overall, I’d definitely like to return here for another adventure. With tasty Mexican food and a mean margarita, that’s enough to bring me back!

ROACH INFESTED! HEALTH VIOLATION! went in 1st time 7:30 pm Friday evening completely enjoying our meal absorbing the atmosphere and my partner says "look up" as I do we watch 3 huge very pregnant looking roachs crawling all over the light fixtures and to my surprise a 4th 1 pushes out and falls onto the space next to me I get up CALMLY I might add and tell my waitress who informs me with a "oh I know,I'm sorry" body language throwing I'm tired of this and she grabs a napkin and chases down and scoops up the roach and tells me we comp your 2 margaritas and 1 coke. Excuse me? She directed me to her manager who started to ring me up and I looked at her and she snatched my bill and said I could leave I did with the thought to call in the am. I spoke with a young lady at 3pm sat who informed me She was the manager on duty and was completely aware of what happened the day before and that what What's my concern as my bill had been comped That they run a restaurant and that it is a normal occurrence. I advise the young lady that In my opinion, this far exceeded normal occurrences as they are not Just in the kitchen, but in fact so bold that they would come out during the light with everybody around. The WORSSSTTT service I’ve ever experienced. We came in and were seated we requested a high chair. Had to ask twice for the high chair even though a table walked in right after us and were seated right away with two high chairs. We sat there almost 30 minutes before anyone even asked if we’d like a glass of water or a drink on a hot day at that. Finally about 45 minutes later and two hungry toddlers crankily eating up all the chips we received our drinks and were asked to put in our appetizer order. Over an hour in our food had arrived and the entire time we ate not one person asked how was the food? Was anything else needed? We were left stuck there in the corner desperately trying to catch the waitresses attention every time she walked passed. Each time we did she said she’d be right with us but never showed. We gave it another 30 minutes with not one check in from our waitress and two very cranky toddlers before we walked out. I even came back in and offered to pay for the drinks and appetizer. I asked for the manager was told two different people were the manager the first girl looked right at the waitress and told her “I’m not the manager” before she went and got another person.
