Jimmy John's — Restaurant in North Township

First and most, I didn’t even want to give it any starts but had to in order to start a review. When I say this was the worst encounter in my life, it’s an understatement. I walked and was met by what seems to be this guy named, Eric or so that’s what he said was his name. I asked how many sandwiches come in a platter and the different sizes. He explained the platter sizes and then proceeded to tell me he couldn’t make any at the time because the bread was hot, then he said the bread was warm. I didn’t understand what he was saying but I said okay then just give me four number 4’s please. And as he was typing in the order, I asked him if he can add another number 4 which he then told me that wasn’t an option nor he couldn’t because he they were really busy which I then asked, “oh you have a big order to process” then he said no, that the bread was hot. Which left me even more confused because he was already doing my other 4 sandwiches I ordered. So at this point he didn’t make any sense so I asked him if he can explain what he meant by the bread was hot and oh boy, he didn’t like it and started to yell at me that I was rude and that I needed to leave the store. Long story short, he refused to make my order and didn’t allow anyone to make it for me. He kept sayin he was the owner when I asked for the manager and that it was his store and he could make up any rules he wanted. I still don’t understand what it was that triggered him but I ended up leaving because I had my kids in the car waiting for me or I would have waited for police to come lien he threatened to do if I didn’t leave. I decided to try it for the first time ever. The people were nice and the service was fast. I would have to rate their food quality as poor. I ordered the hand and turkey sub for me and my son. The bread was harder than I expected but the real disappointment came with the taste of the sub. It was so bland. All it offered was mayo, lettuce and tomatoes. The price was about the same as subway. In my opinion, Subway has better sandwiches and better variety of breads and condiments. I also didn't like that we had to bag our own food and get our own napkins. I won't be going back. I will stick to Subway. I think it would help them better if they offered coupons and other deals. The only way I will ever go back is if they get a set up like subway with better bread and overall better subs on the menu. It's not anyones fault that their sandwiches are not good. It comes with the franchise. There are 3 other places that sell subs within 3 blocked of this place and all are better than...

My husband's friend from work ordered this evening for her lunch, and she got a very long hair inside her sandwich. It was a delivery, and when she called to complain about it they gave her the runaround. Apparently they did not want to be bothered or to give a refund or a replacement, but yet they talk about how they disinfect everything, and you need a mask to go in. What good is disinfection in a mask if they're put in their hair inside of your sandwiches? That was disgusting and I would advise any of you to never eat from there again. When a restaurant will not even listen to your complaint or give you a refund on something that disgusting, then something's wrong with the management. If management is bad, that means quality is bad and you do not want to eat from somewhere where the quality is bad. I myself will never go there again....
