What’s the point of being able to order & pay through the mobile app? I wanted something fast at about 9p. I placed my order & the app said the only option to pick up food was through the drive thru. When I get to the intercom the young lady confirmed my order & sent me to the 2nd window. I thought that meant i would be able to pick up my food at that window but that was just the line for ppl to pay that placed their order through the intercom- the old fashioned way. Why would I have to wait like if I didn’t place my order 13 minutes prior already. I was thinking it was being made. I skipped the 1st window because the teller girl said to go there—well now I accidentally SKIPPED the ppl in line that’s were waiting to pay/get food! What a fiasco. I despise going here. Read moreNever going there again. There is a better mcdonalds 2 minutes away on the eastside. Whiting mcdonalds is by far the worst service I've ever had, for years. The order is always (ALWAYS) wrong. I end up having to drive back there all the time and go inside to ask for a missing item or two. And they never offer me anything to make up for the wasted time and humility of going inside this high cost fast food chain asking about missing food. And then instead of rushing me my coffee or hashbrown or nuggets they forgot, they want to leave me waiting and co tinue other customers meal preparations. No way dude I was there 1st, I payed, I drove away, drove back, went inside now make me wait? They will never get another dollar from me and I spent big bucks there...
Read moreToday perhaps was sn exception but I believe it was seriously under staffed and service suffered, as when the manager/mod was doing all the counter service only and would dissapear leaving the customers waiting minutes to order and other employees (drive up service) would enter the counter area making no eye contact or assurance to the waiting guests. And when the mod returned she never apologized to the waiting guests and and had to reminded her of the missing items in my meal. I waited awhile for my meal (dine in), but she only gave apologies or excuses to others receiving their orders in spanish but made no attempts to speak or look at me.
