McDonald's — Restaurant in Northampton Township

This location is typically slower than other McDonald's locations. 9 times out of 10 you have to pull over and wait for your food. Not necessarily the end of the world because at least I know the food hasn't been sitting forever. But today they amazed me with such bad service. I showed up 25 minutes before they were supposed to end breakfast... but they told me they couldn't do scrambled eggs and had to substitute the crappy folded eggs instead. The folded eggs are bad! Then I tried to add a steak, egg, and cheese sandwich... but they had stopped cooking those as well. I assume they decided to already switch over for lunch even though breakfast was supposed to go for another 25 minutes. So all that was a disappointment... but that isn't what set me off enough to give a review. You can never count on them giving enough butter and strawberry jelly... so I ask for extra... I only do that out of habit because half the time you get no strawberry and only a small butter package. So the girl goes and gets me two strawberry jelly packages (I ordered two big breakfasts). But she tells me they already put butter in the bag so she isn't going to give me anymore. When I got home... sure enough there originally was no jelly... and not really enough butter. I am sure I sound crazy at this point... but I find it very annoying you can't get a little extra butter for those dry biscuits they serve. CHEAP. And it's made worse with the pricing so high and knowing that they rarely give you enough condiments for your order... most times they either don't give butter or jelly or both. Except ketchup... they always seem to throw ketchup packs in for breakfast. I know some people put ketchup on eggs... but I have to think that is less common than people who put butter and jelly on a biscuit. And then they act like you're some beggar when you ask for condiments. Well today... you saved a few cents on those condiments... but you...

Went there with my grandchildren because they like the playground. Prior to this visit, I never found this McDonald's to be sparkling clean or particularly dirty. This time however the cleanliness was a disaster. My eight-year-old followed by the five year old ran into the men's room to use their bathroom. Normally I'm right there with them but they beat me in by several seconds. When I got in there I discovered my five-year-old sprawled across the extremely filthy sink trying to reach the water. I stopped him realizing that he was now covered elbows to hands and filth and lifted him to reach the soap dispenser. To my horror both soap dispensers were empty. And the bathroom was disgustingly dirty. Holding his arms away from his body I went out to the front to demand to see a manager. I asked the manager exactly how all those people behind the counter, particularly the men, were washing their hands when there was no soap in the bathroom as they prepared the customers food. My response from the manager was he just came on shift. I said that I didn't care about that and that soap had to be put in right now and I needed wipes for my grandsons hands and arms. His response was he didn't have any wipes. I called the regional corporate office as well as the national office but was put on hold No one ever did come to the phone after 5 minutes of waiting. I didn’t want to write this but after having to get the police involved to get my paycheck I believe it’s necessary. I worked for this McDonald’s for approximately 55 days during that time I was constantly bombarded from the “managers”Sharon Jeff exc. about my appearance. Keep in mind I modeled as a teenager and am a conventionally attractive female so I’m used to it but the amount of times these people that were in their 30s and 40s mind you brought up my looks was beyond insulting. The blatant hostility, envy and just all over unprofessional atmosphere. I was trying to get my last check and all the manager cared to talk about was how different I appeared with glasses, I have an infant so this was very unamusing to me I wanted to recieve my last check and go. If you can work anywhere else on earth I would suggest so. The owners are extremely kind, hardworking good people who deserve a better team because the management is unprofessional, nasty and just plain incompetent...
