They need more self-checkout kiosks here. It makes no sense to me that there's a whole register area in the middle of the front store that's never manned or used, yet lines are allowed to get bigger. Everyone uses the cigarette register. The Wawa app is useless, and the employees don't scan them anymore. You have to trick them to scanning your phone to get that $2 off your sandwich. If you don't see your order after you paid, the staff try to gaslight you saying it never existed, or someone allegedly stole it. Why can't customers pay at the order screen, that way they don't risk someone taking their food? They will not admit they simply forgot about it. They fill bulk orders first. If you ordered 1 item, it's getting made last. They only focus on Door Dash orders here. And orders for their friends, since the workers are all teens. And if you need to use the air machine for your tires, there's always a huge line. And every pickup truck loves to double park. They can't be bothered to actually walk a few feet into the store. Never park at the front of the store. Ever.
The out of control teens have ruined this place. They'd brazenly walk in an steal your prepared drink orders while you are in line across the building trying to pay. They'd take your food too. That's why they now have "CCTV in place" at the pickup counter. The wait times are long, and sometimes they love to throw their food at each other. They get outside and throw their food directly up in the air to let it land on anybody's car. And now they like to play football and throw balls around in the middle of the parking lot. May car got hit. Clueless kid didn't understand how that could happen, how throwing balls in a lot full of cars would get hit by the ball. I especially love the nightly tailgating with their modded pickup trucks taking up every parking space, and kids running back and forth between all the cars, all over the lot, going from car to car. You can't even pull out to leave because it's so nerve wracking trying to back out. There's one pickup truck kid with a Trump flag that loves to regularly rev up their engine to let a huge cloud of exhaust takeover the parking lot to deliberately annoy people. Another kid had some makeshift go cart doing donuts in-between parked cars. You can't see him because he's low on the ground, which means you could easily run him over, or he screws up crashes into your car. The main idea here is: the parking lot is a chaos zone, and your car is at risk if you stay too long.
There's also scammers that target people in the parking lot. One scam is the "fake gold ring scam". Last year some Arab guy pulls up beside my car. He's driving a luxury SUV, and wears business attire. He quickly gets out of his car and comes up to my window asking me for $4,000 in cash for gas in exchange for a dubious ring. I tell him to get away from me, and he quickly drives off. Beware. I also see some homeless sleeping in their cars here.
Also, there's more deer in the area at night now thanks to all the...
Read moreToday marks the last day I will ever be a customer of Wawa.
June 14th I filled up with diesel at the Richboro Wawa before picking up my boys and heading down the shore to meet up with the rest of the family. The engine shut down on the highway and I consider us lucky to have been able to make it to the shoulder safely.
I have documentation supporting my purchase of fuel, the towing of my vehicle, and repairs made by an AES certified shop which determined contaminated fuel was the cause of my problems. I presented all of this information to Liberty Mutual (insuring Wawa's Fuel Quality Guarantee) and was told that since I am the only individual reporting this problem with a diesel engine that they're denying liability.
Liberty Mutual's position is that Wawa fuel is tested daily. No contaminates or water found. Which I find interesting - folks were reporting engine failure after filling up with gas during a much more extensive contamination event at this location spanning over a weeks time - if tested daily, wouldn't they be aware of the problem almost immediately?
The bottom line is Wawa or Liberty Mutual, or both are refusing to step up to the plate and stand behind their product, their policy and their obligation to the public to 'act in good faith'. I'm out $20,000 in repairs and can't help but feel disappointed that we no longer live in a world where doing the right...
Read moreThe only times i had a matcha where the powder was excessively clumpy was when the barista didnt mix it properly. Id ask them to mix it up and they would. This has only occured once at a wawa before. This would be the second wawa but the first to tell me "they say thats the fun in it" when i asked her to properly mix my drink. She continues to tell me thats how she always makes them. Funny how I properly mixed it in thw parking lot and there was minimal clumping from a little effort to mix it. Either they aren't correctly training their employees, or she has always chosen never to follow directions. I worked for wawa in my youth and even then they had very detailed instructions on how to make anything in the deli department, I imagine she's just a lazy employee doing the bare minimum as most...
