This is my favorite cafe in Northampton. And that's saying a lot because Northampton has a lot of great cafes. If you're a coffee snob/coffee connoisseur, this place is for you. The owners/baristas know a lot about coffee so feel free to chat them up about the perfect pour over or where they get their coffee from. With all the different drink options this a great place for people that don't drink alcohol (although they do serve alcohol too). I like to come and meet with a friend and shuffle through a London fog (it's amazing, this put lavender simple syrup in it), a golden milk latte and a hot honey ginger drink. Sometimes I'll get a chai. I also like to come alone and chat with the baristas. The baked goods are also delicious. They make everything in house and offer a unique spin on all their treats. The joke is that this place is kind of hard to find but not really. It's a little stand alone brick building in the parking lot behind Haymarket/Inspirit Crystals and across the street from Packards. Once you come here and check it out you'll want to keep...
Read moreMy best friend and I took a drive to get coffee and brunch today. I have walked by this place so many times and never knew it was a coffee shop! We are so glad we stopped by today! This place is sooo much fun! The staff where sooo nice and passionate about the menu! They let us try samples and suggested there Personal favorites! The atmosphere was also perfect! It gave us the feeling of being away from all the stress in the world right now dealing with Covid, etc! I felt like I was in a cool little ally way in Portland Oregon. I forgot that I was in Northampton! We sat outside under the shaded tree. We both had the Vanilla Lavender Iced Latte and Yogurt Parfaits! This is now my favorite coffee shop! And I come from a culinary family who manage coffee shops and bakeries all over from Massachusetts all the way to Northern California! I am also very happy I went back in after and got a couple biscuits to go and a glass of juice! Definitely will be...
Read moreWhat a great find! After a long hike between Easthampton and Northampton, and a bit of shopping downtown, my son and I literally stumbled across Iconica while waiting for the rest of the family. We were looking for a place for an early evening coffee or drink and a place to just hang out while the rest did some more shopping. It's right off the main drag but you wouldn't see it unless you were looking for it, or lucky like us. We have a couple of coffees (with a tequila chaser) served by the friendliest staff! The building itself reminded me of a pub in Harry Potter, old and eclectic but homey and welcoming. We hung outside and soon after the house guitarist showed up so we sat there and enjoyed the evening. Nothing better on a nice fall evening. Can't say enough positive things...
