KFC — Restaurant in Northampton

I usually avoid fast food places in general. There was a promotion going on- 2 wraps/ $5 which was a great price. The wraps themselves were good sized, tasty, hot and had the option of coming different ways. From spicy to classic. Chicken was moist and coating crispy. All staff was friendly and service was fast. Granted i am a senior and must have looked tired but instead of calling my order up, it was brought to the table where i was sitting. Exceptional service. The tables were clean. Rubbish bins empty, where you place food trays and dispose of wrapping was clean. The fountain area and where you get additional packets of sauce, napkins, well stocked. Even though it had just snowed the previous day, the floors were remarkably clean of salt/ snow debris. I didnt use the bathroom so i can’t attest to the condition but if like the public area confident in using as need be. From friendly staff, great promo pricing, tasty and enjoyable food, clean from counters to sitting area. The ambiance is fast food but i felt comfortable there. Easy access for handicapped patrons. Have gone twice and found food and cleanliness to be consistently good. Will go again...

Let's start with the good. OK, glad I got that out of the way. This was the quite possibly the worst excuse for food I've ever seen or tasted. Ordered my 4 year old daughter 8 nuggets and fries. Got to the window and was rung up for an 8 piece family meal. Explained to them, that's not what I ordered. Gave them my order again and was now rung up for an 8 piece meal with a biscuit and drink. Strike 2. On try 3 they got the order and price right but then I heard a woman say something along the lines of "you mean I have to make nuggets now". This was at 6:15, which really shouldn't be a hassle at peak dining hours. If I went there 10 minutes from closing, I would understand the disappointment in having to do the job they are paid to do. So after waiting for what I thought would be fresh nuggets, I get home (6 minute drive), and go to give them to my daughter and they were cold, hard and dry as dog food. Absolutely...

There very slow in getting your order.. You have to repeat your- self too be able to get your food right... They dont were gloves when they are dealing with food in the front area... The back side... The cook seem to have gloves on... There table need to be wipe down more then they should.... It would be nice to ask for a name, when the food is done for you...all they have to do is call your name... They seems to forget... There dealing with the public and its best to call out there names... When the food is done... No hats, no net for there hair.. I know most women love too look good... But, business it is... Put it on... The floor need to be clean... No one is cleaning the counters.. Just seems to me;...
