First off, I'm extremely disappointed in myself for not taking a picture of my shrimp scampi dinner before I ate it. For those of you who actually follow me, you know that is not how I roll. So I apologize for that. With that being said. I am just gonna come out and say that this was by far the best shrimp scampi I have ever had! HANDS DOWN! This was one of those extremely rare moments where I left the restaurant wanting more. The longer I waited in-between bites, the better it got! The sauce was out of this world. I dont know what I was more upset about, the fact that I left wanting more or the fact that I wish I saved some to take home. This little hole in the wall restaurant in downtown Northampton is a hidden gem that I never knew existed. I drive by here almost every day, and if it wasn't for a team meeting after work, I would have continued driving by not knowing of their existence. Very cozy, at home, feeling restaurant. The wait staff was extremely nice and on point! The beers were very nice and cold and that food was out of this world. 🤌🏼🤌🏼🤌🏼. I may not have taken a photo at the beginning, but this empty plate at the end is proof that it was amazing, down to the very last bite. Go there, try it! I am 100% coming back here, there is no doubt about that!! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

EXCELLENT service. Incredibly friendly service. We were in town to tour the five colleges. My husband ordered a beer with his meal, and we learned a new term when our server came back and said "that beer kicked, is there another you'd like?" I'm sure if you're local, you'll laugh at the idea that this was a new term for us. Son ordered veggie pizza. Crust very thin; he generally doesn't like really thin crust, but this one wasn't burned anywhere so he did enjoy it. Husband had meatball grinder. I had the bruschetta as a meal. The biggest issue was that the bread they sent out was the same size as garlic bread. Waaaaay too thick/tall to put the tomato mixture on top without it all falling off when you try to eat it. Also, no cheese with the tomato mixture. It was tasty, but just SO awkward. Each bite had to be smushed down in order to make a bite of food fit.

This was stop three on my weekend in Northampton. After hearing about it for years I figured I works give it a try. (Same name and practically the same logo as the Roberto's I worked at in South Windsor. Different owners). I found myself in a crowded bar I until I walked around the back side and found more room. (I only sit at the bar). I had two Tito's and tonics, mussels, and a large pizza with egg plant. The Tito's and tonics are hard to mess up, the mussels were good. The garlic bread meh. The pizza was definitely not the best. (Some locals thought it was). Thin crust, decent amount of cheese and toppings but not the best. Pizza is a staple for me. Especially coming from CT where new Haven coal or wood fired pizza is king.

This place used to be good, but will never go back again. On our first anniversary, we went there for what we thought would be a nice dinner. We ordered the chicken pasta without any sprinkled parmesan. They brought it out with the cheese sprinkled all over it. Had to send it back, and the waitress acknowledged it was their mistake because she knew she wrote it. It didn't take too long to come out but when it did, it was floating in water filled to the rim. They must have hosed the cheese off and left the water in it. It was what was supposed to be a dry pasta dish served in a puddle of dirty water! There was no way we were going to eat it or send it back a third time. We asked for the manager at that point. The little guy came over with Napoleon syndrome. We told him this was supposed to be pasta, not soup and it was disgusting. His comment was "we don't serve anything disgusting!" and then he said he would eat it. Doesn't surprise me, he doesn't look like he cares what he puts in his mouth. The first bowl of pasta that came out with the cheese was not sitting in soup. He basically stood behind the pig slosh his cooks know how to slop up. So, the cooks should go back to feeding farm pigs that's probably actually better than what they tried to serve us that night. Horrible cooks! Don't hire the cooks from Roberto's!! And the little mange, I mean the little manager should probably learn how to deal with people in a professional manner before they let him claim to be a manager. They also have classes to help people gather some self esteem so they don't have to live life in a defensive state of mind. May the new year bring new happiness...

Whew, where to begin! 3 waiters walked by me before one of them stopped to ask me (a person standing by the "wait here for service" sign) if I had been helped yet. Then one lady who had walked by me earlier very surprisedly says, "oh, you want to dine in!?!" Almost appalled, I tell you. So I say yes, is that okay? She grumbled and walked away. THAT was the initial introduction before she comes around later, the person who will be our waiter for the night.

This is already long so I'll give you the highlights: When she came around asking if we knew what we wanted, we didn't know yet, so she walked away. When she came back, we were ready and she said, "you made me wait, so now I'm going to make you wait!" And then walked away. That was one of the most unhinged things I have ever experienced.

Then, she came back, and hands on hips said, "well!? Well?!" We couldn't help but chuckle as whatever this performance she was putting on was. She took our order and then chastised us for ordering, "just one itty bitty pizza, okay." Since when do waiters knock you for what you order??

Long story short, the pizza was good, and the prices were affordable, but this lady, Sue, is off her rocker. She mentioned being cut, which we assumed to have meant fired. Wonder why...

Note: out of 50 people, I was the only Black person there. If you're BIPOC, you will most likely fare the same. I can't help but wonder if that's why we were...
