Sushi Toro — Restaurant in Northfield Township

We had 2 hours to spare between water polo games at a nearby high school and wanted to find a place to eat. We googled a sushi spot and stumbled upon this hidden gem.

The exterior didn't appear particularly enticing. However, we decided to give it a chance, and we're glad we did. Inside, it was warm and inviting. We were the only patrons there in the mid-afternoon. The ambiance and atmosphere were delightful.

Everything we ordered, all the sushi rolls and sashimi was delicious. The chef treated us to a special calamari appetizer on the house, which was pleasantly unexpected. Congratulations to the owners on the grand opening! This should definitely be a popular spot soon. We only tried the sushi today but I would absolutely explore the rest of the menu.
