Carbone's Pizzeria — Restaurant in Northfield

This eatery sort-of has a monopoly on bone-in chicken wings here in Northfield, so when my aged 83 mother wanted such late Saturday night--voilà! She had wanted a quiet place but alas resigned to this (a sports bar model) knowing that it's epitomized by popular demand. Both hocky and collegiate b-ball were motivating its patrons (however it was quieter than Clive's in Burnsville). The upkeep of the women's restroom was somewhat below par along with other aesthetics. We should have ordered extra crispy, if for no other reason but to prime our expectations. We went there for the first time yesterday. We ate their lunch buffet. They had 4 different pizzas on the buffet, but they must not have had any heat lamps on the pizza. The pizzas were cold. Also, very greasy pizza! The had ham and pineapple pizza on the buffet, there was very little pineapple on it, the slice I got only had one little pineapple on it. The salad bar was pretty small.. just lettuce and maybe 10 toppings. They also had fried chicken, mashed potatoes with gravy and stuffing. Pretty sure the stuffing was just something out of a box. Date of Visit: 11/3/19 - Dropping my review from 4/5 star to 3/5 star. I made the mistake of visiting the restroom on this trip to Carbone's and regretted it. Filthy, and the stall doors don't lock. There was a sign stating that they had ordered new stall doors, so that's good, I guess.

Date of Visit: 9/1/19 - My family had a mostly-lovely experience at this location & the food was great. I was glared at by a table of three folks the entire time I was in the restaurant, as my family went to leave, we noticed they had materials covering the table in swastikas.
