Dunkin' — Restaurant in Norwalk

I go to this Dunkin’ Donuts every morning before work. I typically have a great experience all the workers know me AND my coffee.. today was unfortunately not the experience I typically get. Today they had an employee in training at the window which is fine. But he took my card gave me my card back and then shut the drive thru window and began to eat his sandwich right in front of me. I beeped the horn thinking well he forgot to give me my coffee. He decided to question me when I asked for my coffee, he said he couldn’t give it to me until the payment processed which would have been ok, I assumed their system was being slow. He then began to argue with me. It was 7 AM in the morning! The situation could have went 2 ways he could have taken my card waited for it to process and then gave me my coffee and card back or when giving my card back he could’ve said I’m sorry our sustem is going slow give me a second to make sure it goes through. Rather then questioning me,arguing with me, and eating a sandwich at the window while I’m unaware of what is going on. I love this Dunkin’ Donuts and the employees especially because after high school I worked there for many years. I was completely shocked with how I was treated. I usually pay cash and ALWAYS tip but I only had 100 dollar bill which they don’t accept. It’s really unfortunate that this Dunkin’ would hire and allow an employee to treat customers this way and allow him to eat right in front of me very UNPROFESSIONAL. Always get my order wrong or miss an item that i have To drive back from my work place when i get There to enjoy my coffee and food to find out they had it all wrong .....when I asked the drive through lady to throw out my empty Dunking coffee cups please!! she tells me “ there’s a garbage outside “ i say I didn’t see one because i came Through the drive through and there is no garbage can by the drive through so she says it’s in front of the store ! I mean Will it hurt her y throw them in her garbage ? These girls working here were sweet as can be - seems like a new staff from the last time I went. My very first time sitting down inside any shop/restaurant since covid. It wasn’t as clean as I’d like at all. I’m sorry but it’s never but that’s a big deal for me. The seating areas I mean. I wiped my own seat down, which I would have done anyways. But the crumbs, the spots etc that were there were disheartening. But the girls were sweet and I’m sure it’s hard to get everything. I don’t know. I don’t want to discredit them.
