Y’all… I wish I could make this review as loaded as my plate! I ordered the oxtails with rice and peas, plantains, mixed veggies, and mac and cheese. Babyyy every bite was giving soul and intention. Let’s start with the oxtails…fall-off-the-bone tender, smothered in a rich, savory gravy that had chunks of potatoes and carrots soaking up all that goodness. Straight comfort in a box. The sides? Whew. The plantains were sweet and caramelized just right. The veggies? Not an afterthought! They were seasoned and still had a nice bite. The rice and peas were dangerously addictive. But let’s talk about that mac. A lot of folks claim their mac and cheese is it, but this one? No debate. Whoever’s in the back made it with love and a mission. Creamy, cheesy, and baked just right. Top-tier. One of my favorite restaurant macs in a long time. Don’t play with them! They know flavor here!

This is easily the best Caribbean food in Norwalk, if not the best Caribbean food in Fairfield county, or even the best in CT. The food is extremely well priced, with large portions that could feed 2, and the food is absolutely superb. The best and most tender oxtail I’ve ever had by a mile, and some jerk chicken that changed my picky mother’s opinion on spicy food. The sides are delicious and plentiful as well, with great rice and peas, phenomenal Rasta pasta or creamy Mac n cheese, and generous pieces of fried plantain. simply superb and a well loved part of a rotation when I get home from work and want good quality food. Louis is a great and kind man who deserves all the customers in the world! He’s even got vegan options of almost anything on the menu, which I’ve never seen for a Caribbean place! He’s got something for everyone!

This place was a wonderful experience when you first come in it doesn't feel like just any other restaurant. When you're greeted you feel like you're one of the family or friends coming over to visit to have dinner. I love that part the most I like feeling like I was at home I was comfortable and I didn't feel uneasy. When they prepare your food they take great care and what they prepared how is presented and most importantly how it taste it will blow your soaks off as well they roll out the whole red carpet the whole nine yards. I would highly recommend you go to this deliciously wonderful diamond hidden away in Norwalk, CT.

There is no more of an appropriate way I would use to describe my experience then one simple word, delightful. The owner/chef greeted my girlfriend and I at the door, and we immediately felt welcomed. He graciously described the menu, recommending his best dishes, and his passion for cooking delicious vegan food shone through every description. He was extremely accommodating, described the history of the local surroundings, and even gave us the option to sit outside. We ended up ordering the jerk salmon and the spring vegan, and were just blown away. Both dishes were enormous in both flavor and quantity. Every bite was a joy. I ate until I could eat no more and was happy to have the opportunity to be able to take home the rest for another meal. I cannot praise this restaurant enough. It felt like walking into a Caribbean household and filled both my stomach and spirit. If you are in the Norwalk area, this is a must go-to. 10/10 will be...
