Shakey's Pizza Parlor — Restaurant in Norwalk

Wow is the word I can describe this location. Not because it's a good thing! I would give a -1,000 if I could. This is why, could you ever imagine eating chicken with feathers still attached? No, right! Me either! There celebrating my cousins birthday we ordered the meal for $119.99. 4 L pizzas, 24 chicken pieces and mojos. Everyone happy and very hungry waiting for the food to arrive so we all can dive in and eat. Food came and everyone is serving there selves when I see a wing with feathers on it I though no way! I picked up the piece to make sure and sure it was feathers! I checked my other platters to be sure I wouldn't find another one. What do you know there most surely was another one!! I immediately asked to speak to the manager. Branda the manager came over and I expressed the situation to her. Branda who with all do respect was very rude and nonchalant about it. Interrupting me while I was talking and I even had to tell her to let me finish speaking. She kept saying I understand all I can do for you is replace your chicken. (I couldn't believe that I was getting this treatment after I showed her the chicken) she said do you want me to replace the two chicken wings? I said what in the world do you mean I think this is only fair that you give me my credit refund back! And told her why would anyone serve such food? I'm sure this will not fly by the health department. It's unclean. She said that's how they received their chicken and that she didn't know it was like this. I told her aren't you supposed to make sure the food is in good standard before presenting it to the customer? She just kept saying that's how they received their chicken. Well someones not doing a good job preparing their chicken and the person frying it and giving it out to the server to serve. So after all this dissatisfied customer care and chicken she gave me an 8 piece chicken platter free card. Now why would I ever want to order from here again or yet order chicken? The card is useless. I told that I wanted a refund and she said "it would be to difficult to give everyone back a refund" (we paid separately) HHHMMMM but it wasn't "to difficult" to take our money though?! Last time my family and I will eat here again. #chickenfeathers #happybirthday...

Great service, patience workers, and great food! I enjoyed all the food such as their crispy fried chicken, juicy lemon pepper butter baked chicken, and crispy mojo. Their pilaf rice taste so good with the other food. And their salad is very fresh and I enjoyed all the food! The pizza is also of great quality. Crispy crust and undercarriage and the right amount of delicious things on the pizza. My favorite is their veggie pizza… I think the food has improved since last I came by as well. It’s very nice to know that the people serving your food also cook it! Much props to the team here 😀 The customer service is so great that they care about what kind of pizza you want! It is so exciting to see the fresh gooey pizza come out and have the freshest slices. Their water is also good as well. I really appreciate the delicious food and great service! A nice place to have lunch! Only thing to note is that they’re busy so tables may have some time to be cleared..

Great food and great workers with a great price as well! I can happily say that I’d come back and recommend everyone hungry to come by for their great food.

UPDATE: Came another time and was even more satisfied than the last time. Since there was less people, tables were cleared much quicker and people are even asked if they want a new plate. I really appreciare the great servicd and fresh food here…

My Daughter and I had Lunch at Shakey's and it looked great. So we started with a great fresh salad everything fresh macaroni salad. The Best part Crispy Chicken & Mojos and pizza this was so delicious and ice cold water. It's hard to find excellent service like this and for the Assistant Manager Simon, to check if we needed anything or if the food was good. Again, Service 10 of 10. Food 10 of 10.!!!! I was so happy to see when we walked in these store was very clean. We noticed that when the people were done with there plates, the workers would offer a new plate or pick up to clean there table. This Shakey's is very big and roomy where they have 7 or 8 big screen where they may have events and Birthday parties. I will now come the extra miles to come with my family to this Shakey's. There Arcade room is great for the kids to have fun with family & friends. There Restroom 🚻 are pretty much clean . Thank you very much for all you and your staff's hard work .
