Zen's Tea Room — Restaurant in Norwalk

Very welcoming and Relaxing as soon as I walked in. Smelled like a spa. Extremely friendly and accommodating staff. Love the menu, and the tea is delicious! I would love it and would probably come we’re often if they added “Toppings” Such as Boba and gluten-free options in their pastry counter. Loved that they had a scrabble game in the little lounge area. Would be cool if they added a couple more games :-) Cute little”free library” was a nice surprise. So glad I found this little gem!

Update: I soon realized that I didn’t get exactly what I had ordered. I had asked for something “not too tart” with no caffeine And took the girls recommendation. The drink that I got was delicious and not that tart, however I realized after A few sips that it did indeed have caffeine. Honest mistake. I’m not mad about it. They worked quickly to give me a substitute drink since by this point I had to leave for work. Sadly the substitute drink was very tart and didn’t include the strawberry foam that I had paid extra for. Not a huge deal but I’m just a little bummed. I will still give them another try. Super cute tea house! There was lofi music playing and the ambience is very chill and quiet. I like how there's a menu to the right that is in both English and Spanish. The staff was incredibly personable and helpful.

My friends got the hot ginger tea - nice and spicy! And I got the tea flight where I tried the Peach Oolong, Lavender Matcha, Earl Grey, and Citrus Sunrise. They were all sweetened with agave and my friends said they actually liked the Citrus Sunrise and Peach Oolong the most.

I loved how each tea was subtly sweet so I could really taste the tea and the different notes for them. Highly recommend this place! I hope to come back to try more of the teas available as their menu is quite extensive and is a tea...

It's been a few years that I discovered Zens. I lived in the area but never tried it now I have moved and I make a point to pass thru Norwalk to feed my cravings. I love their cold teas and when added food items I was very happy to try their avocado toast ands it's been a go to snack. My favorite is their peach lemonade. Lizzy and the entire team is amazing, they know me by name and already know what I want as soon as I come in.
