If the staff can't figure out the double order lines then they probably shouldn't be used. Sat in the line from before order to pick up for about 20 min, with lots of unhappy people waiting and fighting for who goes from which line to the window first. Most fast food restaurants these days(and other McDonald's) utilize the "drive up and we'll bring you your food" move to move keep the line moving better and improve the customer experience. Guess that wasn't in the cards today. Guess staff just wanted customers to see the horrible line and drive off losing hundreds of dollars. Unfortunately the wait wasn't the biggest issue. The staff doesn't know who ordered what, very unfriendly, cold food, getting things wrong, and used a coupon from the app which the staff acted like he took care of, but obviously did not care enough to do correctly. I knew I should have asked for an updated total, but felt bad for the people already behind me waiting for 15min. After got receipt and moved up, it was too late, noticed nothing applied. They didn't ask for it again, didn't notice nothing applied, let me drive off. By the time I got to the next window, closed the app and again didn't want everyone else to suffer more. Yes it's busy, yes they might be new and overwhelmed which is why I don't take thing out on staff. The issue is management and ownership. Hiring, training, positive environment so people stay and putting people in a position to succeed, not fail and just ruin the customer experience. You can only blame covid and finding help for so long before you need to look at your own shortcomings. Guess I'll just give Wendy's breakfast a try since they seem to be run much...
Read moreI have been there a few times recently over a couple of weeks for Dinner. The app to order and employees there are fantastic and the expiditing of my order have been great.
BUT, the dining room area needs effort. Each time I have visited this restaurant, toward the evening, there is food underneath the tables, on the dining room floor, used french fries container from previous customers and the tabletops (each different one that I sat at) are dirty and sticky. Each one that I sat at I had to use several napkins as a buffer between my food and the tabletops.
I DID NOT want to take images to embarrass their management team and McDonald's but this location needs to get their act together with their dining room area when it comes to cleanliness, a decent image and for consumers who prefer to eat at your location of McDonald's
What an excellent location right off Rte 395.
Very disappointed.
UPDATE 6/10/25
I was in town for work in Norwich Connecticut and I really believe that most management teams recognize that responding correctly is very important for a Business as with the McDonald's in Norwich, Connecticut on Salem Turnpike.
Thank You and to the shift manager and dining room employee on duty this night. I attached a few pics of this beautiful McDonald's restaurant right off exit...
