December 2017: Ordered a coke with my order with easy ice. Got a Dr Pepper. We always order to go for ease of taking left overs with us and stayed in play place. (We come here for my son). Got to playplace realized I received a Dr Pepper with lots of ice. Went back to counter to correct the issue. 3 people were at counter and didn't acknowledge me for at least 5 minutes. They even stood at the computer order button thing that hangs from ceiling literally right in front of me and I said excuse me a handful of times and not like no one could hear me. Ignored! I even had cap off my cup so they didn't think I was just waiting for rest of my order. The one lady completely ignored me pretending to not even see me standing there for the last 5 minutes. She sipped on her drink and hid around the corner in back of the front area. Finally, the guy I’m working who seemed to be running around getting stuff ready for Drive thru assisted me. Even the last few times I've been here the staff seems unhappy and cranky all the time. Never a smile and even seemed confused half the time. Also, why does this location charge $0.55 for refills. I asked when that changed and they said it's been like that. Considering I only just started coming here I asked if it was just this location. The manager on duty unapologetically explained that he just didn't know. Not happy with this location and will be lookin for another nearby playplace in the area in hopes for a better dine...
Read moreUnless you speak Spanish, don't even bother since you'll not have any luck communicating. My experience started with waiting for about 3 minutes before someone decided to take my order (no big line in front of me, nobody by the second speaker). Placed and order that was not repeated back to me and no total was given. When came up to the attended at the 1st window - very ordinarily I was asked if I'm with the cheeseburger catchup only (no hi, no welcome to mcdonald's - nothing). Again, order was not repeated back. As soon as I got the receipt, I brought it to the attendants attention that my order contained items I didn't order while it didn't contain most items I did order. I was told that it was a $4 difference and I just grabbed the money since this transaction took 10 times longer it should have and people in the back were stating to get nervous. As soon as I pulled away, I realize I didn't get half of the order I was charged for. Called the store - of course the first 2 times nobody answered the phone. Finally I get on the phone with manager that insists they didn't owe me anything and they did do anything wrong... money wise, I'm out few buck maybe - but problem is, I didn't get the happy meal I paid for! Shame on manager - that so easily they lost a client by not listing and not checking with their staff about what they actually gave me and only concentration on one issue while completely...
Read moreI was ripped off by this location last week. I had placed a mobile order to be picked up at the drive-thru as I have done dozens of times in the past. However, upon reaching the speaker, they told me that the code I had received did not exist. This was a total lie as I not only had my code in the app, but also had a digital receipt from 5022 N Harlem with the exact code listed on it. I had to go inside after failing to reconcile the situation at the window, and was only given an apology with no refund or food that I ordered. I have seen this happen before and it usually occurs when someone messes up and gives your order to the wrong person or a swindler trying to get free food. No one tried to help me or take any responsibility. I tried resolving the situation through the mobile app but this location has yet to reach out and issue a refund. I had to contest the charge through my bank account to finally fix the situation in the meantime. As someone who has been visiting this location for decades, the night shift employees are amazing people and workers, but the daytime management and owner of this establishment should be ashamed of this pathetic display of...
