Noodles and Company — Restaurant in Norwood Park Township

Greetings my Foodzies, the other day while watching one of our recorded shows, they kept showing commercials for Noodles and company’s new bulgogi steak Mac and cheese (Seared Bulgogi steak, sweet & spicy Korean-style Gochujang sauce and creamy cheese sauce) well it worked; Glenda and I went to noodles and company 4157 n Harlem Ave in Norridge. It as worth the trip; the restaurant was clean, the cashier was friendly, knowledgeable and very polite. The manager was also friendly and accommodating, engaging us in conversation about the food. Also made a suggestion for the Korean steak which is now on my list of foods to try. I enjoyed the bulgogi Mac and cheese, but in my opinion the gochujang added spice but also dulled the sweetness which is associated with bulgogi steak. We also had the shrimp scampi which had the perfect blend of garlic and parmigiana. Also on our menu was the Cajun shrimp fettuccini; great spice profile the shrimp in both dishes were prepared perfectly. Lastly we tried the broccoli parmigiana and lemon. The broccoli was crispy, the parmigiana added a nice salty flavor and the lemon added a bright freshness. We thoroughly enjoyed our meals. I give this restaurant 5 stars. The people in charge of this restaurant are some of the most unprofessional and rude people ever. My last post of the reality of this place was taken down. The managers of the day are more concerned with mistreating coworkers than actually doing their job while the general manager is more concerned with pie throwing competitions. The general manager does not give breaks to her employees that are underage who have been working for more than 5 hours, which is illegal. Get a manager who actually knows the laws and rules for all her employees. I honestly hope things have changed since this but i doubt that the manager stopped breaking child labor laws. The MODs are even worst. As far as food and sanitation this place definitely needs to be checked, food is constantly chunky like cheese and noodles, customers constantly complain about the food and that’s no one else’s fault beside the works of this restaurant. The cooks don’t even smell good so how could they practice good hygiene and sanitation with other peoples food. I paid $20 to eat food out of a small plactic to-go container, DINE IN.. . When I ask if they can serve the food on a plate because im dining in they get really confused. I dont want to eat hot food for $20 out of a plastic to go container. One of the employees brought me another plastic to go container , the same one im eating out of, and asked me "is this plate ok?" I asked someone else, who happens to be familiar with what a plate is, and explained they do not serve on plates like other locations. They also hide the smolder bolder seasoning at this location. Im guessing due to theft. I advise against this location. Other Noodles Co are much nicer. Here, you will spend $20 to eat out of a small plastic bowl....
