RoccoVino's Italian Restaurant By Vince's — Restaurant in Norwood Park Township

I was at Vince's Italian Restaurant for my cousin's baby shower this past weekend, so it was obviously a prix fixe menu done where food was served family style. The restaurant is located in a mini-strip mall with a black awning, which can give you the wrong idea, but Vince's is not like that. It's good Italian food with your regular Italian interior design. At our end of the table we had diners who needed gluten-free, dairy free, and meat free. Our waiter was very patient and was happy to come back with answers from the chef to everyone's questions, and an extra serving platter of the salmon. We had bread with oil, calamari, minestrone soup, salad, bowtie pasta with creamy tomato sauce, chicken marsala (with mushroom sauce), grilled salmon, and veggies. Spumoni was served for dessert. They allowed my cousin's hosts to set up a dessert table which was brought in from an outside bakery. I liked all the food, and thought it was good, but I was not wow-ed. TERRIBLE SERVICE!!!!! I decided to visit this location on a Sunday afternoon wasn't to busy one small baby shower. I waited several minutes to be seated a young child actually went to find the host so we could FINALLY be seated. We then placed our order and waited and waited and waited and a hour later still no food. I stopped more then one server to request assistance. All of them barely stopped to listen. So as I gathered up my baby and our things my boyfriend insisted that we pay for our bread and pop. So we then stood there for several minutes baby In hand diaper bag in hand looking more than ready to go once again getting no assistance to even pay for what we ate so we left a more than generous amount of money on the table and left the restaurant. I will never return to this location I am so disappointed because I have been here previously for events I will definitely be spreading the word to not use this location for events any longer I would not even except a gift card from this location so disappointed In...

Service is extremely friendly Restaurant is nice and small which is unique and it's also very beautiful. The tables slide around a bit and scares me but no big deal. The music was okay.

Ladies and Gentlemen the food here is actually extremely delicious. I had the Chicken Oreganato it was a perfect balance of spices and it was very juicy. Usually Vegetables on a plate are very bland, the sauce however made the taste of the vegetables really come to life I could actually taste the sweetness of the vegetables on my plate which only added more concepts and layers to the plate. It was the first time I finished all my vegetables immediately. Once I got to the main part of the dish the poultry was very juicy mixed with the sauce it was unique and made the taste... well unexplainable I would go experience it yourself and come to your own conclusion.
