Well I was at the HIP Mall to pick up my mobile phone that I damage and at the same time was craving for a sweet cake desert, Usually I go to Mollys Cupcakes for a $5 cupcake but this team I noticed this Bakery and Bobba Vendor in the mall. Despite being a little more pricey I decided to give them a shot and my was I amazed at the texture and taste of their cakes. I had ordered the Macha tea Millie Crepes which to me looked like a slice of cake and was blow away. It was not as sweet as most cakes however it had the right amount of sweetness to the Matcha tea in which macha tea should taste like. It was also the texture that impress me too because at first i thought it was paper layers but it was fine crepes stack together just to find out that part is edible and has a taste. I also ordered the Strawberry shortcake cup and it was just as delicious with a refine texture. This bakery gave me a super wow. It does not even compare to Molly's Cupcakes at the mall nor other Fine Bakeries I know in Chicagoland and suburbs. It is more impressive than Oak Mill Bakery, Lutz or Jennivee's Bakery & Cafe. Surprisingly they had Ube Bao or Saiopao which is more of a Filipino Pinoy flavor that I did not try as I was not in the mood to spend too much after I broke my phone. Service was friendly although I do not like ordering from a Kiosk. Ambiance was pleasant since I was in the mall. I just learn they were based in Old Chinatown by Archer, Cermak and Wentworth and became popular for their cakes. I am surprised I did not know this one. I forgot to take pictures but next time when I order here or Chinatown or Schaumburg I will try the other sweets and...
Read moreSuper cute boba spot with awesome dessert options and boba tea. Staff was rude and looked over whelmed. This is a spot in the mall and it was packed and they only had one employee. She forgot 3 of the items we ordered and when I asked for them she didn’t believe me. Asked to see my drink sticker 3 times bc she kept forgetting something. Everything tastes light and fluffy and I believe this place is organic. 3 stars for the service and the fact that they didn’t have bags. I ordered 3 cheesecake slices for my family to try, a pana cotta, donuts, drinks and a bao and we had no way to carry it all. Had to go to Spencer’s and buy something just to have a bag to carry it all. They had two small tables on the side with only 2 of the weakest chairs imaginable. There were older people there who coulda have really benefitted from a seat while waiting for their order. Food is good but they need to work on getting seats, providing bags for ppl who need them and absolutely work on their...
Read moreHalal Friendly 🤝
I’m a Te Amo regular and I love this place! The workers are always professional and kind. I eat halal, and the thoughtful employee named America pointed out to me that an item that I was interested in ordering was not halal. She was even proactive enough to encourage management to alter the recipe so that it’s halal friendly. Te Amo is super dope for that.
The drinks are high quality, delicious and in trendy and durable packaging. Their pricing is reasonable.
Te amo, Te Amo 🤣🫶🏼 hope you stay at the...
