Wendy's — Restaurant in Norwood

Wendy's used to be my favorite fast food chain from 3 burger options. Recently went to the drive thru of this specific Wendy's. 20 minute wait to get to the order window, no ordering ahead and when I finally got my order, I specifically asked if there were straws in the bag, and the person having me my order replied yes and then when we drove off and opened the bag, no straws, no sauces for the fries,they gave us a dr pepper instead of a diet coke and one sandwich was missing. I know that it's not really Wendy's fault, but that experience made me to not want to go to ANY Wendy's ever again. And even before the pandemic, this place used to be slow at the drive thru, but after this...

Update after ordering through GrubHub a few times: EVERY TIME I preorder Wendy's they are late. Like at least half an hour late. The whole point of the preorder is so your order gets there first thing so it can be on time. If you go to their drive thru, you have to make sure you preorder on the app and choose the curbside because if you get there and their drive thru has more than 5 cars (very frequent, you are looking at 20 minutes wait minim. Also they only have 2 spots for pickup and last time I was there, a couple was sitting in their car eating their order without changing space..those are only pickup spots and with ONLY 2 you might get there and not have anywhere to park to get your order. Now the couple waiting was not Wendy's fault..but ONLY 2 spots? All they have to do is make signs for 2 more right next to them in case other idiots decide to stay in that spot and eat without moving first. Slow service, frequently mix up orders, the only thing keeping that place open is that they are the only Wendy's around for miles!

I keep giving them a chance cause occasionally im in the mood for Wendy's..especially since you eat the same drive thru every time during covid...Every drive thru has upped their game with covid..not Wendy's in Norwood.

Grubhub drivers becareful here.. they want you to show your phone to get your delivery. Even after you call grubhub to confirm your pick up their pride gets in the way and they lie on you. They try and state that I called them the B..word so they refuse to give me my order. Which is false. I had to file a claim with corprate to investigate. They attempted to hold up my time, make me miss out on earning and to top it attempt to get me blocked on the driver's platform. Luckily I was on the phone with support at time of incident. In the end I had to walk behind the register to get my order. I am now waiting for a member of management to reach back out to me. This incident happened 8/13/23 around 3.30pm. I am so glad these locations have cameras. It is a fact we are NOT contracted by these restaurants, we are 1099 contract workers which means we dont have to apply their policies, they can request we take part, but we are not required to do so. to be clear grubhubs policy states you are required to confirm order at pick up by stating name and or order number. Not my attempt to be difficult, however gig workers don't get paid by the hour but by the order so any additional steps cuts in our time of making profit. It's the willingness to not serve a customer because your upset with a delivery driver doesn't seem like a good business practice. To that person to said "Don't pick up orders from here anymore". Surely, means they are not ready to be a lead staff or member of management. I can't be the only person this has happen to at...

Today's visit was very disappointing it was a very long way to get waited on so it didn't seem like was a very efficient process. I got to the register I explained to the lady what I wanted told her I was eating in. She repeated my order to me and then had to correct something so I told us two or three times I want to know if salt on my fries it seemed like that seem to be a bother. I then waited there was about 10 people ahead of me to get my food when the food came it was in a bag I told her that I reminded her that I had told her that I was eating she turns around she gets a tray throws it on the counter and it puts my bag on the tray. She seem that bothered that I had mentioned I had wanted to eat in. I went back to my place and sat down at my seat the food was not that great the burger was kind of dry or it with just mayo and onion it was very little Mayo on it on top of that it only had two Circles of onion but the way to get up there to get more was not worth it. I asked for the fries to have no salt it seem like they have been double in the fryolator cuz some of them kind of crunchy but yet some were really soft and not really even cooked looking. The only thing that came out worth eating was the chicken nuggets they actually came out hot and fresh so I ate them with my dip I only took about two bites of the cheeseburger it was just disgusting. I'll probably not going this restaurant again for a while cuz it doesn't seem like they can handle the crowds...
