Words cannot describe the amazing experience we had at Mamma Vittoria November 8th.

We celebrated our 21st year Anniversary in this beautiful place, and had the most amazing stress free time.

Nella, a delight to work with, really an amazing person with a beautiful heart. She definitely went above and beyond for us and did a fantastic job making sure we were taken care of leaving us with every reason to brag about our event.

The service was exceptional! The whole team at Mamma Vittoria made sure to accommodate our every need as well as my guests. Laura was fantastic throughout the night along with Joanna and Samuel. All three were very observant & attentive to our guest, well organized, and just so sweet.

The cocktail hour & dinner was great, everything tasted just as perfect as it looked, the portions were very generous, everything was freshly made and seasoned well. We kept hearing all night about how good everything was especially the calamari’s, the seasoned potatoes, the moist flavorful chicken and so much more.

Everything went so well that day, absolutely perfect and we owe it all to Mamma Vittoria and their staff. They truly go above and beyond to make sure their guests are relaxed and having an amazing time.

This place would get FIVE STARS if it weren't for their so called "manager" Daniel. Apparently customers who've already booked and paid are less important than potential customers to him and some of his staff. Please get him trained or replaced and get your business the employees it deserves, like your amazing maitre d'. Hire people who actually want the business to be successful. Not people who lose their professionalism by the end of the night after the checks been fully paid, like Daniel and other staff members I couldn't care to name. The food was not bad, but also not amazing. Chicken was overcooked and dry. Rice was clumpy and undercooked. Fish was super fishy but the sauce made it edible. Vegetables were a delight. The pasta was absolutely delicious.

The venue is slightly outdated but we brought it to life with our decor and out of pocket purchased linens (which we did take home at the end of the party for the most part)

The curtain came unhinged when a staff member angrily opened it at the end of the party and Daniel tried shamelessly charging us for damages.

Again, everything was fine and manageable except for this person thinking he's entitled to people's money while being rude and unprofessional. Please find a manager your business deserves. Someone who actually appreciates that people are using your business to celebrate their happy moments.

We, the Malanga family, have a unique history with Mama Vittorio. First off, I met my future wife there on a Friday night while she was dining with friends and I was at an adjacent table enjoying dinner with a friend almost ten years ago. We all went for a nightcap at a local pub and we will be married 9 years on 9-10-20. We also had our engagement,bridal party dinner and several birthday and anniversary parties there. The food is excellent. The service is second to none. The ambiance is wonderful. It’s a BYOB. The prices are the lowest in the area. I could go on about the menu with several choices of appetizers... then a salad.. then choices from dinner menu and finally a chef choice for coffee and dessert...all for 23.95 plus tax and gratuity per person( best deal in Essex county) its a Friday night only. Parties in front room can hold 60...the huge party room can hold 125. They have a great party menu... stop by.. say hello.. Nella will always greet you with a smile and help with your selections.
