KFC — Restaurant in Oʻahu

I did send a complain about my last dine in experience and provided my email address but its been days already and haven't received any response. We do dine here for lunch on Sunday’s or Monday’s it’s sad as their staff (with first initial M) was never nice, friendly and accommodating. We ordered the fill ups and we mentioned that we wanted it large so we were expecting to have fries together with our chicken and tenders but she said fries not included. We said but we ordered large, she’s already arguing with us “you should told me”. In this first place, its the counter/cashier staff’s job to ASK and OFFER the customers if they wanted it with fries (cos that adds to your sale too) but she was arguing that we should ask her. Next when we got our food I was surprised the chicken were as small as half size of their plastic spork. The chicken tenders were not fully cooked. I asked her if they can refry it and she said no we cant cook that again just reheat only. The manager on duty was only standing there just listening and doing nothing to de-escalate the situation. This is the only branch that serves super super micro mini chicken and the staffs were not nice at all. Just a quick note whenever we dine here they always always always serve MICRO MINI chicken, they never fail to do that. Compared to other location their chicken was never like that. We normally enjoy KFC and allow ourselves to indulge in the less than healthy fried chicken they serve only a few times a year at most. But for some reason both my husband and I felt there was a lot of things off about today's lunch.

of all the chicken was much saltier than usual like they soaked it in the brine solution too long. Also, my chicken meat was tough instead of tender like the fall off the bone way it usually is. Lastly, the coleslaw tasted like they had just mixed the dressing into the cabbage and didn't let it sit for a few hours to let the dressing soak in well. As a result the raw cabbage flavor was really strong instead of pleasantly sweet sour like it's supposed to be.

This is the first time we were unhappy with our meal at KFC. Normally the only thing I dislike is the amount of oil I have to soak up with napkins before my conscience lets me eat the fatty goodness. Today, nothing was right. Even the diet Coke was off. The soda machine needs to be re-calibrated because there was not enough syrup to carbonated water. It just wasn't a good...

Sooooo.....my wife and I decide that we want some KFC. It's been a couple of years since we have visited one so we pick the KFC at Waikele. Drive through is about a five minute wait. Get to the window and the nice gentleman hands us our order and we drive off. We had also ordered drinks and it was an oversight on us for not checking for straws. I go into the restaurant and very politely, ask for two straws, the not so nice female worker who repeated what I had ask like it was a mandatory thing in an ironic voice saunters over to the straw tumbler and returns with my straws. Maybe she was having a bad day like we all have. I say thank you and I appreciate you. I always treat service workers everywhere with absolute Respect. Nothing from her. So I will just chalk it up to her having a bad day and let it go. Everything else was good to go and the chicken tenders were Amazing!!! Mahalo...
