L&L Hawaiian Barbecue — Restaurant in Oʻahu

I’d heard I’d L&L, but as an out-of-stater I hadn’t tried it.

I ordered my preferred lunch, then got two other dishes to-go it was that good and representative of authentic Hawaiian BBQ.

I was skeptical about Musabi, but theirs was delicious!

I got their kalua pork bowl & rice1-GREAT!

I hadn’t even considered a Saimin-Burger, but it’s well worth it (no different than a “ramen burger” elsewhere, but I hadn’t yet had one of those...

I got the kalua pork plate and there was WAY more cabbage than pork, and to top it off, the cabbage was still mostly raw.

I get pricing reasons, but dang, I expected not to get a whole head worth of cabbage.

It was supposed to be "kalua pork with cabbage, not cabbage with a pinch of pork"

Flavor was good, though, but they really need to work on their portioning at...

Friendly service. Good selection of food and drinks. Glad they have Brown rice. But, the vegetables in my beef bowl were cold. The amount of rice made it pleasantly filling and the beef was tasty, with an adequate portion.

I edited out the typos and the response by L&L disappeared. I appreciate someone from the company...
