On 6/29/25 my family and I went through the drive-thru at Cane's Kapolei on our way home from a long day out, a little after 630 pm. and placed a large order that cost $59.23. I only received 1 order of fries instead of 2 (which was cold and did not look like it was fried long enough) , the toast was cold, we didn't get all 25 pieces of chicken and I didn't get any of the 8 sauces that is supposed to come with the 25 piece tailgate. I didn't notice any of this until I got home. I called immediately and spoke to Karen, the manager on duty. Karen was great and apologized and offered a full refund, but I told her she can't as I paid cash. So Karen offered to replace my entire order but it couldn't be done the same day bc the restaurant had to close early due to a water main break. Which was totally fine bc I was not going to go back there after being out all day. I called the next day and spoke to Jenny, another manager, regarding my replacement order per Karen. Jenny told me she had to call Karen to comfirm but to come in with my receipt when I'm ready. When I got there and went inside I asked for Jenny. Jenny greeted me and then she turned around and said out loud to the entire crew "everyone the lady that complained about her order is here!" Everyone stopped what they were doing and looked at me. One in particular - Berlina (she was the only one wearing a red shirt so i assume she was a lead or something) stared at me the entire time with a stupid smirk on her face. She even mocked me and said make sure the order is correct! The other mgr - Marlene (I assume she was a mgr of some sort bc she had the same shirt as Jenny and was telling the crew what to do) assisted in making sure my order was made fresh and correct. She had given Jenny all my items and was waiting for my 2 order of fries. When the fries was done Marlene flew the box on the counter and said, with a wise ass tone, here's your fries! That was it - no eye contact no apology no thank you - nothing. Jenny packaged all my items and handed me the bag and said thank you ma'am. I took the food home. Everything was OK, but the fries still looked under cooked. But at this point I'm like screw it. I'm never going back there! I did call the corporate office to let them know about the entire situation and how I was treated when I went back to get the replacement order. Not long after I received a call from Ashley, the General Manager at the Kapolei location. Ashley introduced herself and said I want to apologize for ur experience. Her apology was cold/rehearsed and not genuine - just another mgr going thru the motions to "satisfy" another unhappy customer. She asked if she could do something to make it right. I said no, I already received my replacement order. And unfortunately I will no longer be giving them my business. Ashley said ok and the call ended. The owner needs to send their managers and leads to more training and they need to hire competent workers who ain't gonna do half-assed work, hang their faces and look disgusted to be there and who will not be rude! Times are tuff nowadays for everyone. So when someone decides to spend their hard earned money (regardless of the cost) at your place of business make sure u and ur staff are doing right bc if not you loose business and can eventually be forced to close ur business bc of bad reviews and ppl choosing to spend their...
Read moreThis store always says that they’re closed at midnight from Friday Saturday and Sunday but then when you get there they’re already close at 11 and it keeps saying the app on Google or by phone that has been verified by the business two weeks ago that they close at midnight Not 11 two days in a row I come in here it says that they’re open till midnight literally close by 11 or even before that so it doesn’t even make sense when they keep changing the time or confirming that the business hours are updated two weeks ago, but it’s not really And I keep submitting that it’s close at 11 already but it never changes like these guys are like so rude even though there’s people inside they don’t want to just take my order. Doesn’t even make sense when there’s people out inside the restaurant eating and then they won’t take my order and then one of the workers I don’t I don’t I forgot his name I didn’t see his name when I was asking them if they were close or not they were just chilling, talking eating chicken tenders like it’s so unprofessional these people working here are bunch of kids that aren’t kind. The person said I was working there. They said they don’t have control over the the business hours or the manager. It doesn’t even make sense it’s raising canes you should be able to change that it’s on Google every time they’re close at 11 other places the call open at 12 this location is the only one that’s close at 11 when they’re supposed to be open at 12 makes no sense I don’t even make their chicken tenders, fry, fresh and fries and a toast. Every time I go ahead I always mess...
Read moreWe were told by friends how awesome this place would be. Maybe they oversold it but we were quite underwhelmed. The chicken was, well, average. It was warm but the skin was soft and not crunchy and had no flavor. It was chicken as chicken can be. The fries were, at best, warm. I have had better fries at a college dorm cafeteria. The Texas toast was OK, but not memorable. The sweet tea was pretty good though. Overall we were pretty disappointed, left hungry after dinner and well, underwhelmed. We've had tastier food from an Army chow hall quite frankly.
The store was also rather loud. I had a hard time hearing my wife and kids, the workers had a hard time hearing us order and we had a hard time hearing the workers when they called my name for our ready order...and we were the only customers in the store.
Of note, when we could hear the workers they were quite pleasant and friendly. The store was very clean and well maintained. Sadly, due to COVID, there is no dining in currently. Hopefully they will be allowing dining in in the near future.
I realize this is all my opinion so give the place a try for yourself before drawing a conclusion. If you've had Chic Fil A or Chicken Express and you visit here, well you might have to lower your...
