This is a favorite place for coffee and iced green tea (unsweeted), and sometimes a bagel or breakfast sandwich ("Artisan" line). I love good coffee -- can't tolerate the milk in a lattee -- and I'm a fan of Starbucks or Seatle's Best coffees. The service is generally good, always pleasant, though when very busy, a bit of a wait. This Starbucks has an okay atmosphere. A few comfortable chairs (very popular, and usually occupied) and a number of library type desks that more often than not feature students with laptops, or a bible study or other group. Wireless is available and free to AT&T users. There are a limited number of chairs and tables outside, and in some ways, this makes this location notable. It is as close as we get in Ewa to a town center. The irony of living in Hawaii is the absolute paucity of restaurants that have outdoor seating! Life in Hawaii, our restaurants and shopping centers communicate, is lived indoors! As one of the few places with outdoor seating, this Starbucks is always busy, and always a hive of activity and people. Read moreI only get starbucks iced coffee if they have dark carmel sauce, and it's a seasonal sauce that's only available during the summer around may till probably July. So this morning I asked if they had it in stock, the cashier said yes but she didnt look very sure. I just said okay and trusted that my order would be correct. I waited for my drink and when it was ready I asked "oh this is with dark carmel sauce, right ?" The worker looked confused so I asked again. And he said " no we don't have that ", I had already waited a while for my order and I wasn't about to wait some more so I just left. If you are unsure if you have something or not I recommend you double check so you don't have an unsatisfied customer. If I had known they didn't have it when I asked the first time, I could've order something else and been happy...

I’ve been a loyal Starbucks customer for years, but these new compostable cups are the last straw—if only they came with one that actually worked! I understand the push for sustainability, but if the solution makes the customer experience worse, it’s not a solution at all.
Instead of enjoying my coffee, I’m stuck dealing with spills and struggling to get a proper sip. It’s clear Starbucks is more focused on making headlines than making quality products. If this is the direction they’re going, I’m done investing my money in this chain. There are plenty of other coffee shops that care about both the environment and the...
