I am in sheer awe of how amazing this order was! The quality of the chicken sandwich has practically revamped my rating scale for food moving forward. On my previous 1-10 scale, this legitimately would have been a 15. The fried boneless thigh was juicy and tender beyond compare, with a spice and flavor profile that blew me away. The Cole slaw was crispy, flavorful, and inventive; a perfect accompaniment. The pickles are astounding (I don’t know but I feel like they are made in-house). I swapped the sauce for the hot honey ranch and it was delectable and scrumptious.

By far the best fried chicken sandwich I have ever had.

The fried corn bread was equally astounding, crispy little perfect pillows that explode with a homey feeling that echoes through the meal.

I live in Chicago and meant to place my order at their Armitage Ave location. The manager on duty refused to give me his name, and also refused to cancel my order. Word for word “it was your mistake, if you care about the order that much come pick it up” I have worked in the industry for 10+ years prior to my new career and have NEVER been treated that way… even by the worst kids in Wrigleyville. I’m more than happy to pay the WHOPPING $12.90 to never talk to that man again.

P.S. the manager held me on the phone until the order was made- it was ordered through their website, and I could hear him talking to his kitchen waiting until the order was ready before being told “sorry the order already went through”

It’s not about the money, it’s about the respect for your fellow man- I made a mistake ordering from the wrong location and get treated like that!

I came 15 mins before they closed. I thought they closed later than 8 pm. It’s located inside of the food court. The employees were friendly. Good customer service. Food tasted great. I don’t know if it’s because I came in super late but my chicken to bread ratio was perfect. I read other reviews that it was off. In my opinion, it was on par with Fry the Coop. I ordered the southern style with southern heat. Just the right amount of spicy to make it enjoyable. Chicken was very moist and aperitive. It had the perfect amount of crunch. Mac and cheese was not bland. It was very flavorsome with mild heat. Banana pudding I took off a star because I felt the ratio of shortbread cookie to pudding was off. In the pictures I have, I had way too much shortbread and not enough pudding. It still tasted good but the ratio needs to...
