Tropical Smoothie Cafe — Restaurant in Oak Creek

Since the beginning of time, smoothies have been the backbone of the working class. Tropical Smoothie is the one staple that keeps society going. Without this location in Oak Creek, the state of Wisconsin would seize to exist. It isn't just a smoothie in a cup, but a reminder to enjoy the smaller things in life. In this review we will be talking about the Service, Food and how it compares to other joints.

First, we look at their service and what makes it so amazing. You are in and out within minutes, even when there are a lot of people and a lot of orders (based on the number of receipts I see) they are able to work in a timely manner to fulfill my order, and always get it right. Jim really has his crew in tip top shape, I have never been in a Tropical Smoothie that is this amazing. They don't have a drive thru, which I prefer actually because I have to look at the menu and not be rushed by the 'Soccer Mom' behind me. You can take a good look at the menu and cater towards your hearts desires.

Next, we look into the Food/Smoothie aspect. I have gotten tropical smoothie a hundred times before, and this location makes their smoothies the best. They are soo good every time, that I drive out of my way and past a different tropical smoothie just to go to this one. If you like simple smoothies, I find that you can never go wrong with a jetty punch (Strawberry and Banana). Looking for something simple and but with a little more flavor I'd recommend the Paradise Point (Strawberry, Banana & Pineapple) or a Sunrise Sunset (Strawberry, Pineapple, Mango & Orange Juice). If you like chocolate, can never go wrong with a Peanut Butter Cup Smoothie (Banana, Chocolate and PB). Those are my recommendations, try them all!

Lastly, we look at the location compared to everything else. Jamba Juice is low quality compared to this, the consistency is the same from the time you get the smoothie until the time you are almost done, you won't find annoying chunks of fruit like other places do (they always clog the straw). Panera's Smoothies are small and they don't do the job like Tropical Smoothie. What I like about the size of Tropical Smoothie is that you don't have to decide what size to order, they universal size helps solve that common "should I get a medium or large" debate. Tropical Smoothie also frequently is featured on my credit card (CHASE Freedom) where I get 3% back plus 10% back on all Tropical Smoothie Purchases, so it is a good way to earn Credit Card points (not offered at other Smoothie Places). Tropical Smoothie is far superior.

In Conclusion, we looked at the aspects of the Tropical Smoothie Located in Oak Creek, what you should order and why it is the best smoothie place you can go to. For a smoothie so damn expensive you would think it wouldn’t taste like water. I got the blimey limey and the chicken ceasar wrap & my boyfriend got the mango magic and the chicken pesto flatbread. I have had the blimey limey more times than I can count across multiple locations. Never have I been so disappointed. It has never tasted this awful, it’s incredibly watery and flavorless. The chicken ceasar wrap was soggy and not fully cut in half so when I went to eat it, it fell all over my lap. My boyfriend said his smoothie was also watery and tasted more like “whey water” than the actual fruit that you are supposed to taste. Needless to say I will not be recommending this location or ever going back. Someone needs to learn...

This place is Legit. They are always kind to me. Not only do I enjoy their healthy menu items, I love their customer service. For example, I ordered a Caesar Salad Chicken Wrap (AMAZING choice by the way) without tomatoes and when I was eating my lunch at work, I realized they added tomatoes to my wrap. It was such a inconvenience, so I called and explained what happened. The lady on the phone was very respectable, she listened and gave me options on how I could handle the situation. Later on when I went back to Tropical to pick up my wrap they messed up, not only did they remake my wrap, they remade my entire order free of cost. Thank you Tropical for such a great experience.
