A few days ago I walked into arby's and I had to use the restroom 1st, I walked into the restroom and it had such a bad smell, I wanted to leave. Although I really had to go the bathroom, there wasn't hardly any toilet paper left on the role then I went to wash my hands and there is just a little bit more paper towels than there was Toilet paper. When I walked out of the Restroom because it looked and stunk so bad I wanted to see what the rest of the lobby look like before I decided I was going to order my food and sit down and eat in The restaurant. I glanced at the lobby and there was a few customers sitting eating but there was several tables that had garbage left on them or they were still dirty from previous people eating there. During this time that I was doing all this there wasn't any customers waiting to order there was 3 staff members just standing around behind the counter. When they ask me if I wanted to place an order I told them "I don't think so, The restroom has a funky smell to it and it's dirty, and there's no toilet paper and very little paper towels." I paused for a moment as I noticed that the manager that I was speaking to was getting a little frustrated with me. I then continued "Then I walk out to the lobby to see what it looks like and there is garbage all over tables out there and you can tell several them weren't wiped down, so no I don't think I'll be placing an order to eat here who knows what the prep area of your restaurant looks like" The manager then was so upset, didn't say anything to me or do anything leading to try to make things better. No, he walked away from me and never returned, And during this time that i was standing there nobody went into the woman's bathroom to fix things that I saw. As I was sitting in my vehicle I noticed the 2 managers outside as if one of them was consoling the other. What a joke! As I was sitting in my vehicle I placed an email to the corporate explaining all this. It's now been at least 3 days and nobody has contacted me. All I can say is wow, Arby's used to be a very nice restaurant that I loved the food and customer...
Read moreI've been a loyal customer of Arby's for 30 years. But yesterday I encountered an employee who makes me not want to go ever again. I'm not sure his name but he's from India with a black mustache, wire framed glasses and a black vest. It's a name like Oshay, but I'm not sure.
I've been using my Arby's Christmas coupons all year with no problems and yesterday he refused to take my coupons. This has happened with him before and I get a Manager to come over help me. But yesterday he said the Manager told him not to honor my coupon. So I asked to see the Manager and he lied to me and said there was no Manager there. When I could clearly see the Manager was in the back. And this was during the lunch hour. So I withdrew my coupons and left without ordering anything. Arby's got zero money and I got no lunch.
I went back later in the evening and spoke to a different Manager who said my Christmas coupons were still good and that this Oshay didn't have the authority to make those decisions about the coupons and then lie about it. I wonder how many other customers he's done this type of thing to that just never came back.
You get a few disgruntled customers talking bad about Arby's and posting negative things online and you can see how a company's reputation for quality service that took years to develop can be destroyed in a matter of days. All from just one bad employee not doing his job and then being dishonest. Is this the image that a family restaurant like Arby's wants to project?
Arby's has a great product. But continuing to employ unfriendly and dishonest people like this Oshay won't matter cause people like me and other's will just take our dollars to much more positive, friendly and honest...
Read moreI did not realize an Arby's experience could be this bad. My wife and I walked into this Arby's on 1/23/25 at approximately 8:15pm (they were scheduled to close at 10:00pm). No one was at the front counter to take our order, no big deal as it was very quiet and I'm sure employees were starting the cleaning routine. We stood and waited for a few minutes and still no one acknowledged we were in the restaurant while we could see one employee clearly hiding in the kitchen area and two other employees arguing about who should go to the counter and take our order "I have too much stuff to do" was a comment made by one of the employees- again, they were open until 10:00pm!! This was not like we were walking in at 9:50pm.. it was 8:15PM! Eventually we turned around and went down the street to Taco John's.. where the employees were happy to take our order and serve us fresh food (even though they were in the process of their cleaning routine as well). If I were the Manager of this location (or the franchise owner) I would be extremely disappointed in my staff. If I were one of those 3 employees, I would be completely ashamed of myself. Both my wife and I have worked in fast food and I cannot imagine simply refusing to take a customer's order during open hours. I mean, if you weren't going to take our order just lock the doors.. just close down the lobby. I did not know an Arby's experience could turn out this way, it's typically an above-average experience for a fast food restaurant. This has got to be the worst Arby's restaurant in the state of Minnesota and reading some of the other Google Reviews I'm not alone with this opinion. Zero Stars, I mean we didn't even get to...
