Food: I ordered two donuts. The gluten free Double Chocolate Coconut and the Coconut Cream. The double chocolate coconut was dense but moist. It wasn't as heavy on the chocolate flavor as the name suggests but still enjoyable. The coconut flakes are more of a garnish than flavor enhancer. I would order this again. The coconut cream however, I would pass on. I was anticipating for it to be filled with cream but the only cream you are getting is the dollop on top. Without it, the dense breading inside isn't much to celebrate. Be sure to spread and savor the dollop that is on top. I additionally ordered a hot chocolate that I feel neutral. Not bad or watered down in any way. I was hoping for a thicker consistency, but I'd order it again as well. Service: There was one girl working the shop in the morning. She was young, kind, and patient. Despite making all the drinks herself, she made them rather quickly. Atmosphere: Small cafe but it has a warm, cozy feeling. It has a slight rustic barn vibe to it. Small table off to the side for seating. There wasn't any patio seating when I visited in April. Depending on how crowded this place can get, the lounge area can fill quickly. More of a quick stop in, grab your goods, and head out due to lack of space.

I just moved to the area and decided to grab a bite on my errand run. I was sadly disappointed find out that they don't have the chicken sandwiches anymore, but I couldn't resist trying a bite of a couple of their old fashioned donuts (pistachio and stout chocolate). They were delicious, no surprise there. Had the couple of bites on their outdoor patio and enjoyed the sun for a bit. While ordering a homeless veteran came in to ask for some ice water and they were happy to oblige, but I was most impressed that although I offered to buy for the guy, the (I assume lead/manager) went ahead and covered the costs. I will be back, not because of the donuts (which were tasty to be clear) but because the character of the employees guess a long way.

Very hot coffee and cold, hard donuts. Kind of a harsh morning. Not feeling donut love.I’m sure this will be easily remediated once this oak park location could make their donuts in house I think that really will add to the dynamic doughnut experience /it’s just a little bit too precious. Not feeling warm fuzzy vibes either.I kind of feel like early morning shift people need to be a little bit more warm but that’s just me. It’s hard to be a morning person I understand. But I’m paying for quality donuts. I guess that’s all I’m paying for. The coffee is on point. The best thing about this morning and this place is the coffee. Be careful it’s piping hot.

This place is an absolute rip off. My husband and I went here a few days ago and picked out 3 donuts. In one of the slots, there were two sprinkle donuts stacked on top of each other. There was no sign and no price tag for them, but common sense says they’d be about the same price as the other ones. I told the girl behind the counter “I’d like one of those.” She didn’t say anything about it being “special” or anything. My husband and I were talking so we didn’t notice that she put both of the sprinkle donuts into a box. When she rang us up, our total came to a little over $20 even though we had [thought] we had only bought 3 donuts. Come to find out, the two sprinkle donuts stacked on each other were considered a “cake” and they were charging $15 for it!!!!!! $15!!! For two donuts!!!! I was in complete shock!! They were literally the same size as all the other donuts and maybe had a small amount of extra icing and sprinkles. I wish I was exaggerating. Personally, I cannot support a business that knowingly deceives and rips off customers. If you decide to still go here, please double check any prices if there aren’t any labels on any of their products. *EDIT in response to owner comment: I can assure you that the 2-donut "cake" did NOT have either a label NOR a price in front of it, behind it, above it, nor anywhere else you claim it may be. Also, if you look through the pictures posted of this location, you can clearly see the chalkboard pricing board on the back wall does NOT have any prices for donuts. There are only prices listed for drinks...
