While I cannot review the brick and mortar store, I will be reviewing the online store and shopping experience. What a nightmare! I ordered a bedroom set not even to try to save any money as it was pretty comparable to other bedroom sets I was looking at. It did take several weeks to ship and I was expecting that so no complaints there. What I wasn't expecting is that I paid for the white glove delivery. This is a service that they offer for an additional fee and they are supposed to bring the pieces inside your home and assemble them for you. They are not supposed to dump the furniture on pallets in your driveway in the middle of a snow storm. I was dumbfounded. Upon opening the pieces, we realized that not everything had been delivered and a few pieces that were delivered were broken. I contacted the customer service Representative, Toni, and she was of VERY little help. I wanted to return the whole set because I was disappointed in the quality and missing pieces and delivery experience and she just kept quoting that I could but it would be $600 for them to come and pick it up, etc. I didn't read the fine print so that was totally on me but the customer service experience was UNACCEPTABLE over all. They offered me $100 back so I could hire someone in my local area to fix the broken piece. What a joke. They eventually sent me a new part so that I could just fix it myself but the shipping took a few months. DO NOT BUY anything from their online store. You will be extremely disappointed. The customer service is garbage right along with their garbage furniture and garbage delivery process. (This was third-party but I still paid CRAFTERS & WEAVERS not the delivery company so they should have handled it) Instead, Toni told me that I had to file a claim with them which I tried to do but they shot back that because Crafters and Weavers is the one who hired them, I couldn't file it and they would do nothing for me.
ABSOLUTE MISERABLE EXPERIENCE - SAVE YOURSELF THE TIME AND MONEY AND BUY...
Read moreRegret ordering a trunk from Crafters&Weavers. Poor customer service! I received it on 11/21. The trunk would not open all the way, nor the lid stay up. I contacted them that day. They asked for pics, I sent them. I had to repeatedly reach out to them to try to resolve the issue. On 12/8, I receive an email from them that the factory will be sending me a hydraulic piston to fix the problem, and the customer service rep also tells me she will let me know when they will send it. (Still haven't heard when that will happen) I called the company after receiving her email, explaining to them I do not know how to install a piston, and that I would like $150 credit in order to hire someone to fix the trunk. The company rep basically told me that they are the go-between for the factory and customer; they have had increasing problems with the factory sending out products with flaws, but that it's not their fault. He also told me they would get back to me regarding my request for $150. Here's the response I received from the company on 12/8: "Thank you for calling today. After the conversation, the team had been informed of your request for $150 for the repairs of the hydraulic piston. Unfortunately, since we already ordered the replacement part, we're currently unable to give you any credit. However, if you're unable to fix it and would rather look for a quote from a local repair person, you can forward us the quote and the team will review it, after which we will get back to you." So instead of this company arranging for someone to come and fix the defective trunk, which I believe a decent company would do, since they did send me a defective trunk, or giving me a credit so I can get it fixed, which I thought was very reasonable, I have to send a quote to them and cross my fingers that they will...
Read moreI ordered a pair of end tables from Crafters and Weavers several months ago (approx. January 2021). One end table arrived at my home within 2 weeks or so but the other end table never arrived. I was told by the shipper's rep that the missing end table was apparently lost since no one was able to locate it and I would be reimbursed for my end table by the shipping company but I first had to have Craft and Weavers as well as the packing company they use to complete the proper paperwork and submit it to the shipping company before I could get reimbursed. Here I was trying to work with a well-known multinational shipping company to get all the information I needed but was getting passed around from person to person and nothing was getting resolved. This literally went on for months. Out of desperation, I reached out to Crafters and Weavers asking them for help in resolving this so I could just get my money back and forget about it all. They were aware of the missing end table and had been for months but didn't realize I was having trouble with satisfying the shipping company with the proper paperwork. Crafters and Weavers stepped in to help right away. They told me they were shipping me out another end table, at no cost to me, and I should receive it within a few days and, better yet, that they would deal with the shipping company on their end to close this issue. I was so relieved when they told me this. I had been fighting with this for over 6 months and had come to the conclusion that I probably would never get reimbursed. I was very grateful to Crafters and Weavers and would definitely purchase from the company again. They made it right for their customer and that is why I am writing this review. Thank you Crafters...
