Ok, I've been here 5 times in the past month. While the food is fair and reasonably priced I do however take umbridge with the bar staff, except Nichole, they have 0 customer skills and apparently drinking here is frowned upon( if you drink for the pourpose for which it is intended, to get drunk) by management. I ordered an appetizer (filet and dumplings) a meal (swordfish) which came in reverse order, a dessert ( truffel cheese cake) then I was told by the manager, even though I have not been disruptive, vulgur or showed signs of misbehavior I was cut off because of " people in her past." She stated that " I would not be over served" on her watch. Here's the rub, and apperently in the state of TN this carries some kind of meaning or weight, "people do not go to bars to get drunk". Whilst I vehemently disagree I would allow her her flight of fancy if the 3 people at the end of the bar weren't vastly more intoxicated than I was. There were also people there while I was there ( one being an employee, a bartender, whom they were holding a seat for at the bar until she got off work, so I had to wait for a seat until someone else left) far more intoxicated and louder than I have ever been in over 20 years still receiving shots. I told the Manager I used uber services for the evening and she stated to me " accidents happen". I am at an inconceivable loss of words for either a manager of a restaurant or a state that makes bartenders and management fearful of waiting on customers that compose and behave themselves appropriately while drinking because they have such a draconian view , to wit bottle service probably induces fear of incarceration by affiliation, so much so as to have the hypocritical mindset that YOU should not drink to get drunk but those people over there are ok. I blame myself for giving this place so many chances. I'll stck to where the owners, management, bartenders and staff really undestand what drinking at a bar means and as long as I have a driver, behave repectfully, do not become disruptive and I pay my tab and tip appropriately what I do is none of the bars and especially, in no uncertain terms the states busniess. There is money to be made in TN but if I can't enjoy myself money is useless unless I spend it...

Read moreWe went on a Friday evening about 4:45pm which is good, because we heard it gets busy, and it did. The staff was very friendly and welcoming. The manager came and spoke to us about the air conditioning vents above our table and let us know that if the condensation dropped on us, they would be happy to move us. We were fine and it wasn't an issue at all. I ordered the 10 oz sirloin with brocolli and a caesar side salad, my wife had the chicken fingers and a half size order of the Asian chicken salad, and our friends both ordered the special, which was prime rib. My steak was delicious and cooked how I ordered it. The caesar salad was a good size, but the dressing was a little strong, broccoli was perfect for me (on the soft side of al dente... My wife likes hers on the crunchy side of al dente.) My wife loved the Asian chicken salad and said she would order it as a meal next time. The chicken fingers were good, but not as great as we have heard. (Could be just a difference in opinion.) There were plenty of them and made for a good sized meal. With the chicken in her salad she could not finish all of the chicken fingers...lucky for me...leftovers! Our friends like Aubrey's and have eaten there before, but were a little disappointed with the prime rib. They ordered it rare and medium rare, and both thought it was a little tough and overcooked. Our waiter was very polite, but seemed like he was new, because we had to ask for water refills and I had to ask twice for a drink menu. He was was nice and seemed like he was trying hard so we gave him a 20% tip. All things considered, it was a good experience. We will most likely go...
