Panda Express — Restaurant in Oak Ridge

I Love Panda Express EXCEPT for this place. Today I sat in line for more that 10 minutes just to find out they were doing CASH only orders. "our card thing isn't working" My response was it would have been nice to know before I got to the order board. the response, "well we have been to busy to go out there and put up anything." Really!! I had to sit there while 2 more cars got their order, the 3rd car pulled through. This is not the first time this store has had the same kind of issue. I have sat in the line before just to be told their "card thing" wasn't working. But it doesn't stop there. this store has served me food that should have been tossed out to many times. I go to other stores and the food is great, so I think maybe it was an off day, or maybe they had a slow day. But yuck. It never fails. I even have gone inside to see what looks like it has been there forever and have watched them dish up and serve food that has been sitting there way to long. This is a management issue with food quality. Who ever this manager is knows he can get away with serving food that has long expired on the food bar. It has been sitting there cooking for a long time. I have watched servers stick a spoon into a pan of food and you could tell that food had been sitting there for a while drying out. I was in Oak Ridge because my dad is in Methodist hospital. I chose Panda Express because I love their food. However, after last night I'm not sure I'll ever go back. I was stuck in the drive thru line for over 30 minutes. Appparently from what I saw there were a lot of messed up orders. Then, after watching the people in front of me pass a bag of food back and forth like 20 times with the person in the window I finally was able to get to the drive thru window. The girl came to me and told me my total. She grabbed my money before I could tell her it was wrong. She came to bring me back my change and I informed her I didn't order whatever I was being charged. I had a plate with chicken teriyaki, orange chicken, and white rice! Another girl comes up and offers me a solution of giving me back my change instead of just giving me back my change. I tell her I just want my food. She apologizes and comps my food and gives me my money back. She hands me my food and I leave. My mistake was not checking the food. It was all wrong. No rice but noodles instead. Onions and peppers all in it. Plus it was cold! Horrible horrible decision going to Panda Express. I'll not...

Somethings changed at this location and I think it's the current batch of employees?That usually comes down to management issues?Not sure who that is since I've only been inside once.The girl at the drive-thru window was probably my #4 child's age(20?)Man??Was she rude,&it takes alot for this Mamabear of 5 to say that LOL!! The young lady in months past was super nice&efficient. I usually don't spend $10 on a bowl of food,but I was treating myself.Boy was I disappointed.Dang,it was awful?Any other time we got dinner here for our whole family in the past, it was Great! The orange chicken was so dry&sticky I was afraid to eat it?(I've had food poisoning before,Yikes!!)When I went inside to exchange it a very nice Hispanic girl helped me,&everyone else,while the rude drive-thru girl&her possy leaned around talking?I really hope someone high up reads this(DM)because this place needs a House cleaning bad.This place is a goldmine if ran right?Hope it's fixed or this family of 9 won't be spending a bundle on dinner...
