I've been leasing a computer from this place for over 2 years and they were great at first. The computer was used and I immediately I realized the wifi chip did not work. It wasn't a problem as I had access to ethernet so I didn't bother with it. Then I moved and no longer had access to ethernet so I took it to them to be fixed. They said they'd be able to get it to me in a couple of days but then they kept it for over a week and when I walked in to get it I was informed that the whole computer had been wiped. I did not have time to back up my very important files and projects. I did not get a call, text, or even voicemail asking me for the pin to my computer for them to get in and look at it. And they didn't even fix the internal components, they just gave me antenna to put on the back. Then, without talking to me about it, they changed my rental agreement, so now my payment schedule is wrong. A little over a month ago I returned a laptop as I could no longer afford it. I factory reset it in the store right in front of an employee and even left the laptop on the setup screen to further prove that I had indeed factory reset it. They said they'd keep it for me in case I changed my mind. Today I receive a voicemail that sounds a little irritated with me about the laptop. I call them back and they inform me that they need the pin to the computer so they can factory reset it. (How they were not able to do this to the laptop yet were able to do it to my desktop is beyond me.) I tried to explain to them that I factory reset the computer and they argued with me about it. They finally asked about the background to the computer and I told them if it doesn't have one of these three names it's not my account. They got quiet for a second then apologized and told me to have a good day. I'm paying off this computer with my next payment and I will never look back. So I had to replace my washer and dryer and had been searching all over Knoxville, Oak Ridge, Lenoir City, and Harriman Tennessee. Like so many others right now with limited financial resources to spare, I wanted to again buy new without breaking my budget or my checking account by taking out a loan due to unknown future due to Covid 19. I called Rent A Center in Oak Ridge and spoke to Dan and Robert and told them what I needed, how much I could spend, and I wanted to get a new washer and dryer due to having a child with sensitive skin. Dan told me to give him a few days to make some calls and do some searching. On Saturday, Robert texted me and said the store had just received some new units inn and for me to swing by. These guy's made the application, sales, and delivery painless and stress free! They walked me through each step, told me all of my options, and even set me up on Auto billing, so no worries about having to call inn to make my payments or miss a payment. If you need new appliances or furniture for your home, please give Dan or Robert a call before going on the hunt, and let them take the stress out of hunting and delivery for you. Supremely satisfied with my experience at this store! From the people at the top to the bottom, they were all so friendly and accommodating,I would probably have them all over to dinner just to chat and hang out lol but aside from being good people, they gave us great service as well,we just moved here from Scotland, so we didnt have everything you usually need, but they were so understanding and helpful, and made everything so easy, where usually we get a hard time for things like this, they made it a breeze and we will definitely be back at this store in particular for all our furniture or appliance needs,as they were also very transparent and honest about everything, there were no surprise costs as well as a small nick in the dresser top being pointed out to us and replaced before we could even see it for ourselves,so very happy with this service and with everyone there!
