This is my 2nd time using Dos Bros in Oak Ridge. Ordered the Dos (20 people) 1 extra queso 1st time. Today ordered the Dos (25 people) & 2 queso. However, the manager of this store was very unprofessional. When we got home we only had 1 small pan of queso and one tray of chips. I called and just asked to be refunded for 1 queso and 1 chip. The young lady who answered the phone was super sweet and said she’d have that refunded. A bit later the manager called me. At first I thought he was calling to apologize and was thinking wow this is great. Boy was I wrong. he preceded to tell me I was wrong and that I had gotten what I ordered. He continued to say the reason was they put both in one and there would not be a refund. However, it was not marked in any way that it was double and because I had just gotten this a month before I had an idea on how much was in one which is why I doubled the order in the first place. Additionally, last time I got 2 container of chips while I only got 1 tray this time with 2. But the mistake isn’t my complaint. The biggest problem I have with this whole situation is that the manager felt he should call me after I had already been told I was due a refund to let me know I was wrong. I tried to explain my thoughts but he chose to continue to argue. I finally interrupted him and told him I was celebrating Fathers Day with my family and didn’t have time to fight with him over this and I’d simply choose to use the Dos Bros on Kingston Pike. Read moreI ordered online at 4:50 pm on my home computer. The order went through just like always and when I got there at 5:18, it was not ready yet. I waited and waited until about 5:30 and asked where my order was. The girl at the register said the order was not showing up on their system and I showed proof that the money was taken out of my account. I told them someone owes me 11 dollars for a refund then and she asked if I placed the order with the right store and asked to look at the app. I told her I used my PC at home and she didn't know what else to do. She asked the others in Spanish something and another went to the online ordering tablet and scrolled like 6 orders down and there was my order! She printed it out and the lady making the food just looked at her like "huh?" and they started talking in Spanish with confused looks on their faces. It took them a little while to make it and NO ONE APOLOGIZED! The cash register girl just handed me the bag and said nothing! I left the store at 5:47 pm. Almost an hour since I ordered online. I just tried the place on Sunday and ate there yesterday as well and was looking forward to it today but they just lost me back to Salsaritas. An apology would of been return customer factor...
Read moreThis used to be my favorite restaurant in Oak Ridge, but I don't know what has happened! They have had a total transformation of great staff members recently who had been there for a long time. The portions are now chincy and they charge extra for every little thing now. The last time my husband & I were there they took the laddle of queso, poured half of it out back into the main queso container, so my husband only got barely a half pour on his burrito. When he asked for the full ladle he's always gotten, they told him it would be extra?! Then today I went there with my daughter and it was the same thing with the beans! I am a vegetarian so that is my 'meat' but I didn't get near a full scoop of beans and asked for a little bit more. She gave me a little bit more, and didn't say anything about an extra charge, but at checkout it was $1.40 more for the tiny bit of 'extra' beans. The guacamole was also half of what they used to give. You can definitely tell they are going light and charging more for everything. Sad. I don't really want to come back and I used to eat here...
