Service was horrible. The sad part is I was excited to try this place out. It was the first time here and it will be the last time. We arrived and there was one customer sitting and eating her food. When ordering, the onions weren’t restocked as well as the grilled veggies and onions. After making one bowl he decides to start putting the order in on the kiosk. From where I’m standing the kiosk is filthy with an abnormal amount of smudges all over it. He then proceed to return and ask if there was anything else. I said yes I’m going to get a bowl but please change your gloves. From the first order he grabbed the diced onions but put the container more to the right of the grill instead of refilling so he had to go over there and grab the container again. On his way back a dust pan fell and he picked it up , put it back and confined to too my bowl off with cheese. We had 4 drinks , 2 Quesa birras and two bowls. We asked about the sauces he said he would show them to us then proceeded to ask if everything looked correct on the screen. It did so we said yes and paid. When we asked again about the sauces he struggled explaining them, then offered samples, once we chose he had the audacity to ask if he could use the same sample cup to fill out sauces with. Then he told us we must pay for the sauce as well. Our first order was $93. Yea $93 2 bowls, 2 Quesa birria and 4 drinks I repeat $93.the sauce wasn’t expensive it was $1.05 but he tried charging for other sauces until the manager on shift told him you’re not supposed to charge for that. I know she’s the manager because that one customer who I was telling you about earlier asked for a manager or corporate infor while I was filling up my drink. She stated she was the manager on shift and they spoke in the corner near the bathrooms. Another lady came in and as she’s trying to order the manager comes and speaks with the guy who took my order , which o thought was very inappropriate since the lady was in mid order. I will not return. I came because I’m a loyal chipotle customer and I heard it’s like chipotle 2.0 . The Sandlake location is NOT and I repeat is NOT. I will never return. Don’t waste your time or money here. Employees don’t smile, food isn’t restocked, and if they change their gloves is a serious question here. I hope corporate looks into the cameras and figures out who needs additional training and speaks to all employees about acting like they want to be there. My transaction occurred a little after 1:20 pm or a little before on 5/18/2025
Do not again do not waste your time coming to the sandlake location , any youtube or TikTok review was not done here. It’s empty...
Read moreI am not one to leave negative reviews at all, but I feel compelled to after my last visit. For reference, I have been to this location probably around a dozen times with no real problem. The employees that work around lunch time always act like you are inconveniencing them by ordering food form them. Today I placed an order ahead of time for 12:30 pickup. I arrive exactly then, and sat at the table next to the to-go stand and in front of the cash register. After sitting for 13 minutes, I got up to ask the cashier if my order was being worked on and she says “oh it’s right here”. My food was sitting behind her the entire time and she saw me sitting there for 13 minutes and never thought to ask if I was waiting for an order. I also requested that the birria tacos have no onions in the “special instruction” area. I ask if there were no onions and the guy that was on the line says “no, it comes with onions. If he doesn’t want onions he’s going to have to wait while I make a new one”. I mentioned that my break time was ending and I would just have to take what was given to me. All that was offered was “oh… my bad”. This isn’t the first time the (simple) special instructions have been ignored. Why have that option if nobody looks at it? Overall extremely disappointed in the service today. Not to sound like a Karen, but this was bad enough that I’m not sure...

This was the first time I actually ordered in store. I work nearby and usually have them DooDash my jerk chicken quesadilla. Much to my dismay today I found out the jerk sauce was discontinued!! Oh no!! What a shame! However, Esam and Aaron were there to pick up the pieces. They patiently walked me through the menu and helped me find a replacement for perfection which is no easy feat! I settled on the sriracha ranch chicken Burritodilla and it was divine. Every flavor popped at different times on my palate giving me a culinary and sensory experience rivaling that of the GOAT Chipotle. While they were ringing me up they continued the conversation and told me epic stories of deliveries past, company history, and recommendations for next time (Aaron you owe me a chef special!) All in all it was an incredible guest experience and 5 stars isn’t enough to express my thanks for this location and the two gentlemen working...
