This restaurant is located inside the Double Tree Hotel. We went in for dinner about 5:30pm on a Friday. There were a few people at the bar and several other people who like us, began queing up for dinner. After a long wait, during which no one offered to show any of us to a table, my husband approached the bartender to ask if the restaurant was actually open. They said yes it was, but that they were the only one working, both the bar and restaurant. The bar was obviously busy, so the restaurant in effect, was untended. Since we chose this hotel partially for the convenience of not having to leave unnecessarily, we felt that we were sold a service that in reality they did not have. We wasted a lot of time and still wound up having to go into town for dinner. I would have left one star, except that the bartender was doing such a good job of trying to keep the hospitality ship from completely sinking, that I was impressed by their effort. They deserve their own star, but I don't see staying at this...
Read moreUpdating from my previous 5 star review. I ordered here about 3-4x a Week for breakfast delivery and they completely left out a $13 burrito I paid for and when I called to make it right, they lied and said they didn’t get that in the order but I know they did because it was on DoorDash but somehow got my other items in the order? I called and they did not make it right by offering the credits to come back as I requested so I will never be back here again. No refund made or anything. The manager called and left a voicemail and told me to get a refund with DoorDash and that they can’t help me. Not even an offer to replace the item next time I order. Nothing. DoorDash doesn’t always issue credits when things are missing.. very shocked by this expierence after being a customer so many times. I won’t be back. I’ve spent 500$ + monthly here for my breakfasts and this is how they acted the one time I had an issue? I don’t appreciate getting scammed after supporting this...
Read moreMost good hotels have a restaurant attached. Burchfield's is a restaurant with a hotel attached. Been there several times for Sunday night jazz. This year for St Paddy Day. Special Irish menu and 2 Guinness for $8. Shepard's Pie was outstanding. Luke, our waiter was great as usual. We had him other times. Jazz night is Sunday. Call for a schedule. Can't figure if it is once or twice a month. Near as I can tell the "house band" is a group of local jazz musicians who are happy for visitors to sit in. Talent ranges from "pretty good" to "amazing." Bring your ax if you play. For St Patrick's day the gang was hot. Three sax, a bone, two guitars, trumpet, keyboard, drums, vocals. At least three people sat in on the drums. Great food. Reasonable prices. No cover. Fun to watch jazz talent improvise and play off each other. Don't for get to tip...
